I'm the proud father of "The Koodie" and two other food snobs in training. I photograph weddings and events professionally. I know what I like.
Turned on the ugly lights at 11:40, WOW this place is ugly, like a Jerry Bruckheimer wet dream nightmare. In a whole town of Stepford, this is every bad beach themed bar you've ever been to, ever.
Pleasantly surprised with their cafe sandwiches, I had a pit beef panini, very good. Careful, the portions are "York County" through and through, take some home, or get chubby.
Although known for their crabcakes their pitbeef sandwiches are a very good value too. Nice, pink, tender pit beef served on a choice of bread, with a Boh draft for less than 2$ during an O's game!
This place has the only decent iced coffee in town, a coffee shop in a small town, done completely right.
Don't try to dry clean anything with contrasting colors, they will refuse to launder out of "fear" of color bleed. They are NOT a professional dry cleaner.
They have Tshirts! Not sure how they taste but they cost the same as a sandwhich and fries, this place is operating shearly by the grace of it serving beer and wine.
The "brisket cheesesteak" may not be what you are expecting, this is a more accurate description. Chopped, pre-sauced, brisket, factory style sub roll, roller rink nacho cheese, raw onions jalepenos
Alas, it is no "Aldos". Got a 16 pan with black olives, olives tasted metallic, like they were past. The "pan" we got was indistinguishable from regular. Greasy crust, clueless server, ugly signage.
It is OK, if you are seeing a show, stop in. Lots of "new" inconsistencies. Pizza was a disappointment, too much cheese, crust not done enough. Wish it luck, going to need it.
4.25 for a piece of pita bread, red sauce & cheese and 1.50 for a kids drink verges on airport or rest stop level of ripoff
Hours are total bullshit, If this wasn't the only place of gold plated insurance policied Towson & Timonium was covered 4, they'd be out of business. Selection for Davis is a joke whole place is crap
Fish peppers have a long, storied history in Bmore, looking forward to some white paprika fish sauces. The "snake oil" reminds me a lot of Tabasco, but richer, less tang, would be excellent on oysters
The slide from the Hess Shoe store is still there on the steps, but there is no ladder. The slide is fast, so station one adult at the bottom of the steps.
Definitely more of a Motel feeling to the place, poor maintenence, poor finish, room wasn't terrible, nor impressive. Gym sucks, broken and half operational cardio machines. About what I expected.
Wine and beer EVERYWHERE, like candy store/wine beer, but liquor? Only at the ABC, super expensive and not on Sunday.
If you remember Milano's (on Satyr Hill) pizza from the 80's this is the joint, Greek meatballs aren't on the toppings list, but ASK FOR THEM, best pizza I've had in a long time.
Complete with employees screaming obscenity at each other outside the place on break, this is one of the lowest class, hot mess, burger kings anywhere.
No kids portions, expensive for a place with no servers, classic, fat bumpkin consumption of mass quantities.
