As London's most renowned food market, Borough Market is a source of quality British and international produce and the perfect place to discover something new.
A market at the southern end of London Bridge is first mentioned in 1276. In 1755 it was closed by Parliament for causing congestion, but soon reopened and is now one of London’s busiest.
Seek out Utobeer - a remarkable beer stall with over 600 options. They're also in cahoots with the nearby (and excellent) Rake pub.

Old vs new - as seen from Borough Market.
All the tips recommending Brindisa's chorizo sandwich are bang-on. It is amazing. Brave the (invariably very long) queues, it's well worth it. Roast to go also do an awesome pork belly sandwich.
Someone on Twitter told me the grilled cheese guy everyone's talking about got banned (!!), but if you can find him please leave a tip. In the meantime, bratwursts are pretty good.

Find the duck sandwich booth and the chorizo sandwich booth. These are very important sandwiches.
Wake up with a coffee at Monmouth Street Coffee roasters. Too much good food to recommend just one. Wash down lunch with a prosecco in the summer or warm cider in the winter.
To experience a literal taste of Dickensian London, go to Borough Market. Explore stalls of local produce including wild game, one feels like Oliver Twist himself. Kristin Knox, The Clothes Whisperer
Some top traders here. Follow your nose to Kappacasein for a grilled cheese sandwich or some raclette. It's worth it...
If you like Market food then venture down to the Market on a Friday as there's more food stalls. If you want to avoid tourists on a Saturday then go there early morning.

Go for the Chorizo roll for brunch, Raclette for lunch and Konditor & Cooke for desert. Then head for the gym !
Or, ignore all that expensive food, and have a nice pint of Harveys at the Market Porter and watch everyone scurry around.
Oysters, venison burgers and the game stall in general are great on a saturday morning followed by a nice pint of ale outside one of the pubs
An absolute must for anyone who's never been. Would recommend the Argentine empanadas-they are delicious and the queue usually isn't too long!

Один из старейших рынков Лондона. Посещение обязательно! Гулять можно целый час. Еда на любой вкус со всего мира. Особенно рекомендую орехи: макадамия в меду, миндаль посыпанный какао и кешью в меду.
