The hotel standard for cultural significance, world-class amenities and elegant style in the heart of the nation’s most historic city.
Quaint rooms and great location.
Lo están refaccionando, no es gran cosa, cerca de todo pero las habitaciones son muy chicas.
In desperate need of a refurb....shame as it has the potential to be a lovely hotel
Rooms are small and dated.
Under renovation, pleasant staff
Charming historic hotel really means cramped and in need of a refresh...
Wifi access code is meeting2
Decent hotel; seems more luxurious and grand than it is. Bedrooms are very small. However, good location!
Great hotel with reasonable prices
To get free wifi and save yourself $12.50 or more, use corporate access code "Corporate" when connecting.
Great hotel. Great location--so close to everything. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
Possibly the worst bartender in all of Boston... good luck
The rooms may be small, but that's expected for its age. The location is fantastic!
Elevators are terrible, plan to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get downstairs! They get filled and stop at every floor
Big, beautiful room, lightning fast Wi-Fi
Make sure you ask for a room on the non-construction side of the hotel. The saw, drill, and hammer well into the night. Very noisy.
Awful service and fire alarm went off two nights in a row
Wifi in Rooms is for 12,5 $/Day
There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby, not in the rooms.
Historical yes but not up to par. Room was cold with temperature at 84 which felt like 62. Call about get issue and draft from windows and they bring me a portable heater wtf !!
Nice hotel, worst pillows!
Bathrooms in the room don't have locks. 😒
If you are claustrophobic this is not the hotel for you to stay in.... The rooms are the size of a chicken coop.. Don't get me started on the size of the bathrooms...Smh!!! My least favorite hotel.
Rooms are Victorian, quaint. Ask for a room on the Statler Park/Columbus Ave side for a better view.
Get the running map from Concierge. Long check-in lines. Historical hotel = few power outlets, flaky wifi, but walking proximity to Back Bay, Newbury St, Boston Common + historical charm is worth it.
Super high water pressure = good.
Really crapy hotel!
They turn off the A/C when it is cool outside, so it gets warm in the rooms. Ask for a window fan when you check in, and ask to have someone open the window for you since they are bolted shut.
Great hotel. Soo amazingly retro glam! Rooms can be small but comfy. Great location and service.
Really noisy place with unsettling experience of sharing a room with your neighbours because the walls are so thin. And come on, make the wifi free in the rooms. But, location is super.
Great service to guest. Booked my stay here via Rocketmiles.com and am so happy with accommodations here!
Beautiful historic lobby......but giant roach in the bathroom sink.
Super bonito y suuuuper bien ubicado!
Old hotel, needs a remodel!
Don't stay here. Incompetent/lazy staff. Lounge employees = No English. ZERO sound-proofing, EVERYWHERE, all-floors. Staff says they'll fix something, next staffer won't. King bed = got a SMALL DBL?!?
Learn about the history of the hotel just around the corner from the main desk. This is the original bar drink menu.
nice location but the rooms are crap
Mixed review. The A/C didn't work at all. Our room never got below 75 so they comped our room and gave us breakfast vouchers. Walls were very thin. Loved the location and history of the hotel.
Dissapointed that a hotel of this standard charges for wi-fi in the rooms (as of July 11th 2013)
Fastest elevators in any hotel in the city.
I always stay here when in Boston. Great location and staff is very helpful.
The air conditioning at this hotel is almost pointless during the summer. Our rooms never got any colder, they just kept warming up. They updated the thermostats, but the coolers are weak.
Most comfortable hotel bed I may have ever slept in! Beautiful historic hotel!
This is a great hotel. Friendly staff, historical. Room sizes reflect age, but are very nice. Close to the T and a nice shopping district, parks, harbor, etc.
Minha experiência não foi muito boa. Minha dica é: o custo/benefício não vale a pena.
Não ter free wifi nos quartos é horrível. O atendimento é fraco.
Historic details, comfy, & well maintained. No frills just a place to relax/sleep while you visit.
Make sure to come here in 2011 when it was still nice :-)
