Lo están refaccionando, no es gran cosa, cerca de todo pero las habitaciones son muy chicas.

Decent hotel; seems more luxurious and grand than it is. Bedrooms are very small. However, good location!

To get free wifi and save yourself $12.50 or more, use corporate access code "Corporate" when connecting.

    Marcos Carvalho · August 21, 2014

The rooms may be small, but that's expected for its age. The location is fantastic!

    Connor Garrett · August 6, 2014

Elevators are terrible, plan to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get downstairs! They get filled and stop at every floor

    J Hask · August 2, 2014

Big, beautiful room, lightning fast Wi-Fi

    Yngvar Johnsen · July 21, 2014

Make sure you ask for a room on the non-construction side of the hotel. The saw, drill, and hammer well into the night. Very noisy.

Historical yes but not up to par. Room was cold with temperature at 84 which felt like 62. Call about get issue and draft from windows and they bring me a portable heater wtf !!

Bathrooms in the room don't have locks. 😒

    Marisa Moran · February 5, 2014

If you are claustrophobic this is not the hotel for you to stay in.... The rooms are the size of a chicken coop.. Don't get me started on the size of the bathrooms...Smh!!! My least favorite hotel.

    Krishna Thomas · January 28, 2014
  • Peyton S.

Rooms are Victorian, quaint. Ask for a room on the Statler Park/Columbus Ave side for a better view.

    Peyton Sherwood · December 9, 2013
  • Delyn S.

Get the running map from Concierge. Long check-in lines. Historical hotel = few power outlets, flaky wifi, but walking proximity to Back Bay, Newbury St, Boston Common + historical charm is worth it.

    Delyn Simons · November 24, 2013
  • John C.

Super high water pressure = good.

    John Councilman · October 25, 2013
  • Alain M.

    Really crapy hotel!

    Alain Martinez · October 17, 2013
  • Mark S.

They turn off the A/C when it is cool outside, so it gets warm in the rooms. Ask for a window fan when you check in, and ask to have someone open the window for you since they are bolted shut.

    Mark Saltzman · October 13, 2013
  • Dani Nicole H.

Great hotel. Soo amazingly retro glam! Rooms can be small but comfy. Great location and service.

    Dani Nicole Hol-shhhh · October 8, 2013
  • Erik V.

Really noisy place with unsettling experience of sharing a room with your neighbours because the walls are so thin. And come on, make the wifi free in the rooms. But, location is super.

    Erik Vollebregt · October 3, 2013

Great service to guest. Booked my stay here via and am so happy with accommodations here!

Don't stay here. Incompetent/lazy staff. Lounge employees = No English. ZERO sound-proofing, EVERYWHERE, all-floors. Staff says they'll fix something, next staffer won't. King bed = got a SMALL DBL?!?

    James Wong · August 19, 2013
  • Jeff B.

Learn about the history of the hotel just around the corner from the main desk. This is the original bar drink menu.

    Jeff B · August 19, 2013
  • Nick T.

nice location but the rooms are crap

    Nick Thomson · July 29, 2013
  • Trisha R.

Mixed review. The A/C didn't work at all. Our room never got below 75 so they comped our room and gave us breakfast vouchers. Walls were very thin. Loved the location and history of the hotel.

    Trisha Reynolds · July 21, 2013
  • Pedro C.

Dissapointed that a hotel of this standard charges for wi-fi in the rooms (as of July 11th 2013)

I always stay here when in Boston. Great location and staff is very helpful.

The air conditioning at this hotel is almost pointless during the summer. Our rooms never got any colder, they just kept warming up. They updated the thermostats, but the coolers are weak.

    Jason Apperson · July 5, 2013
  • Rebekah C.

Most comfortable hotel bed I may have ever slept in! Beautiful historic hotel!

    Rebekah Cathey · July 4, 2013
  • Michele B.

This is a great hotel. Friendly staff, historical. Room sizes reflect age, but are very nice. Close to the T and a nice shopping district, parks, harbor, etc.

Minha experiência não foi muito boa. Minha dica é: o custo/benefício não vale a pena.

    Cassio Quintao · July 3, 2013

Não ter free wifi nos quartos é horrível. O atendimento é fraco.

    Cassio Quintao · July 1, 2013

Historic details, comfy, & well maintained. No frills just a place to relax/sleep while you visit.

    Michele Bowser · July 1, 2013

Make sure to come here in 2011 when it was still nice :-)
