I rarely write tips, but damn the grits here are phenomenal. My favorite spot in the neighborhood.

Tiny place. Located in the street/basement level of an apartment building. Not that busy. Sometimes creepy empty, but there's a guy in the back room watching the place. It got the job done.

Not worth it. Food is mediocre, service is way too slow. Servers just go missing at times. People that work here just don't care.

Tacos here are not good. Fish tacos tasted like fish sticks and chicken tacos tasted like it was cooked with store-bought taco seasoning. You're better off going to any small Mexican food joint.

Waitstaff is incredibly friendly, prices are comparable to NYC restaurants, I overheard several people say the coffee was delicious, and a great place to make you feel like you're not at the airport.

Personally I think they toast their sandwich breads a little too much--difficult to eat and the roof of my mouth is now pretty rough. But I've been here for Thanksgiving and it was amazing!

So hard to get reservation at night, but they're not busy at all during the day, or around lunch time.

Come early. Plenty of seating in the morning and once you plant yourself it's easy to work here the entire day. Cheers to productivity.

They only have 2 hr wifi, but if you want to avoid buying too many teas, use the Flatiron Plaza free wifi network. Work as long as you need to!
