Brendan Rastetter: The gyro is fantastic. One of the best I've had. Americanized with thick, round and plentiful cuts of lamb, but I'm definitely not complaining. I'll be getting another very soon.
Brendan Rastetter: The brisket and pulled pork at More Than Q is incredible. The macarons at Sciascia Confections are also worth the price. I really enjoyed the salted caramel and apricot.

Brendan Rastetter: Their lobster roll makes me long for Maine. It's fantastic. A generous amount of lobster meat with mayo on a delicious roll. Wash it down with a bottle of ginger brew.

Brendan Rastetter: The whiskey here is highly varied, but the food is what makes me want to go back. The steak tartare with a raw egg is wonderful as is the beef cheek. The menu always changes so enjoy the variations.
Brendan Rastetter: You can't go wrong with any of the fresh sandwiches. They're always good as is the coffee. Don't forget to buy a few of their delicious vanilla macarons at the counter!

Brendan Rastetter: My ex-bf and I wandered in here and ordered the Heart Stop and the Mac Daddy sandwiches to go. We got drunk and then dug in. It was the best kind of mistake.
Brendan Rastetter: The little cupcakes are amazing! Also, get the Meyer lemon mascarpone ice cream when it's in season. It's guaranteed to become your favorite.
Brendan Rastetter: When I can't make it to Philly for my cheesesteak from Dalessandro's or John's, this place is a very decent alternative. Order the 12 inch. It'll be plenty.

Brendan Rastetter: The fried Mac n cheese balls and the gator gumbo are very good, but the bread pudding is the business. Probably one of the best I've had. The only place in Philly to buy Zapp's Voodoo Heat chips.
