Very crowded, long queues worth to wait for good churros and chocolate in an authentic place.
  • Giannis S.
I hate to admit that it was unexpectedly dissapointing. The churro was completely tasteless and the hot chocolate very very average.
  • Marlyn Guzman
I really liked the churros and seating on a table outside. Got to do the queue to seat outside but worth it. Think it’s open 24/7 or at least till very early in the morning
  • Yvonne Y.
Overhyps churros for tourists. Way too sweet
  • Ana Paula M.

The best churros you’ll ever have! One portion is big enough for too people. It can get really crowded during peak times.

If you want to sit in the beautiful cafe, get in the left line to order, and then the right line to sit down. But if you walk 10m down the street there is also a takeout version with shorter lines.
  • Daniel Patrick S.
It’s open 24hrs so If you want to avoid lines, go late in the night.

There is a take away by the side where lines are normally shorter, only problem is they have no porras which are my preferred choice to churros. Chocolate is amazing

Order from their takeaway sweet shop on the other side of the street - it has a shorter line - and then take them to eat on a bench in Plaza Mayor.

Skip the line at the main shop and head right next door to the expanded "to-go" counter and grab your order as a takeaway

All of their chocolate has milk in it so vegans be forewarned! They don't have soy milk either. But it's nice to go once for the history.

Coffee is good. Churros is also OK but the hot chocolate's taste is poor. I always prefer Churros with Nutella.

Churros are great, and the chocolate is a perfect match. Not too sweet and thick enough to dip into it.

Dozens of this kind of black and white photos of the world celebrities at the entrance decorate the salon's walls. I did mine too, couldn't get to the "wall of fame" though.. nevermind 🙃

Traditional breakfast in this famous chocolatería in Madrid is a must. ✔ Churros y Porras with chocolate, washing it all down with coffee cream, - incredible start of the day in Spain.
