Adorable space/converted Victorian home. Tasty fried pickles, sides, Aloha Chicken, cobbler and, of course, catfish.
Pros: Nice equip/facilities and great energy. Snack/smoothie bar. Pool. Cons: Music is so bad it's epic. Towels rarely available at peak times.
They serve Tamale Company tamales (which are naturally gluten free). All kinds -- I like cheese/jalapeno best.
Yeah it's hot in the summer. It's Texas; that happens. The patio is where runners, post-run, like to sit b/c we're already sweaty. Matt's would have never closed the patio.
Great place, but shift mgr just treated us rudely, inexplicably denied our request for audio on bar's TV during Cowboys game (?). So, we won't be choosing Stackhouse for today's game or any other.
A must-stop for your stay in Fburg. Live music on weekends & packed. Good Texan food and some TexMex. Awesome patio action.
These guys stayed open late to take care of my niece and her baby when they had a blowout. They're great and I really appreciate them.
