Best children's museum I've ever been to. Great toddler room on the third floor. Very clean.
Free on Thursdays 5-8pm
Very cool place to visit! Don't go during free admission night, way too many kids around to be able to experience what the museum has to offer
Best children's museum I've been to
Mi hijo grande se sentia muy bien , xk todavía es un niño chico
Gets crowded on weekends, the second floor is great for the babies
A little over priced, but there is tons of activities for the kids to do. It could be very educational experience, but my kids mostly ran around like hooligans, rather than trying to learn anything.
Go early because the fun will make time fly.
Tots spot is great for toddlers
One of the best children's Museums I've been to! So interactive; even my 18mo had a blast! Don't overlook HEB and the restaurant!!
Fun place to take the kiddos on a raining day!
Excellent children's museum. They have some really great exhibits here.
Awsom place to take kids
Outside area in the summer is great. The younger kids room upstairs is wonderful too. Free Thur nights are very crowded.
We went on a free night. So wasn't shocked that it was packed. My 17,4& 3 yr old had a blast....ok so did I! Beautifully set up, lots of fun things to do. We ate at the cafe & the food was yummy!
Awesome museum but on a warm day in May, I felt hypothermic since they keep the temperature so low.
Their Thursday Free Family Nights, Family Adventures, and special educator membership make it affordable for all.
Right outside the Tot Spot room is a great play area with Little Tike Cars
For kids of ages!!!

My son and I can build stuff at Invention Convention all day. The best family entertainment value in Houston. There is so much here you can't do it all in one visit.
Hands-down best kids museum I've seen. However the crowds are crazy.
Pretend debit card was a hit with our 3 year old
People are rude here if you're not a paying customer

Week days is the way to go!!!
My boys love coming here!! Something fun for all kids!
Garage parking is free when visiting the public library in the Children's Museum

Don't bother w/family membership. They count 3 as a family. Normal fams w/2 kids + 2 adults need Plus membership. Boo!
My kids love this place! It's a must go with kids of all ages. They could stay for hours and hours, but it is always so crowded!!
Love this place. The year long membership is a great deal. My two year old could stay here for hours. The cafe is kind of grody though
This massive kid paradise is the number-one children’s museum in the country as well as the highest attended, with more than 750,000 people passing through its doors annually.
Let your kid use a pretend debit card from an ATM machine to buy groceries and dine out at this museum. He’ll learn about money and have fun doing it!

OMG @cmhouston makes best asparagus soup hands down!
Have a refreshing, mouthwatering fruit salad. Perfect on a hot day. Cut fresh daily.
Get a nice frozen yogurt on a hot day like today. Yogurt machine shuts down by 5ish.
Take a bite out of their juicy fruit salad. It's peeled, sliced and served fresh daily.
If you have a little one (birth to 36 Months) try the Tot Spot upstairs. I have been talking to many people who didn't even know it was there. My 18 month old LOVES it!!
