This iconic boardwalk still remains quite an escape from the city. Also you can't go wrong with a hot dog from Nathan's.

Classic NY seaside spot. Teeming with people, food stands and rides, as expected.

Visiting the Brooklyn boardwalk, eating a Nathan’s hot dog, riding the Thunderbolt rollercoaster in Luna Park, & carving out a spot on the beach is still an everyone-should-try-it New York experience. Read more

Walk the boardwalk until you find the person selling Mangos on a stick with chile powder and lime juice. So so good! Best thing here.

The boardwalk is very nice. Lots of parks and rides to go, plus you have a view of the ocean. However, don't go wondering around the neighborhood's behind the boardwalk, they're not safe!

It's weird and wonderful, better during the day. At night it feels a little sketchy/messy with too many drunk people around.

Carnivalesque boardwalk and (not a very nice) beach. Good for people watching all of the weirdos and wandering around. Take a ride on the ferris wheel and eat fried dough with sugar or a hot dog.

Street eats are always a fav. Try to steer clear of the modern take out fair I.e. Popeyes etc. grab a snack from the boardwalk or get that world Famous Nathan dog

Ride the cyclone, it's more fun than most wooden roller coasters. The Ferris wheel has a great view too. Lots of good people watching on the boardwalk. Don't forget to stop at Nathan's.

Loads to do with the family. A strange mix of touristy stuff and local flair. I really enjoyed it, so did the family. Now the beach is not the cleanest but if u r not super posh u won't die😜
