Until recently, Corcoran's offices housed the city’s oldest continuously operating elevator, a small 19th century wooden box from Otis Elevators that was operated by an attendant.
Our parlor level at 49 E 10th was an antique store in the early 90s. Some of the abandoned inventory – such as the spectacular chandeliers of Venetian glass – can still be seen in our office.
