Bringing bad ass seafood back to suddenly hot Midtown East. Formerly Crave Ceviche Bar. Maybe you tasted Chef Todd Mitgang's cooking @SouthEdison in Montauk.
$1 oysters for HH and the best tuna sandwich (confit, of course) in the city. Other menu musts: scallop crudo & lobster curry are packed with flavor. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check!
Gob during happy hour where they offer $1 oysters Monday thru Friday. Crave nails it on the chopped spicy scallop over a sheet of sweet potato and the Merluza fish as a main. Def going back...
The Lobster Curry is delicious & HOT (order bread or the rice....you'll need it - they are NOT kidding)!!!
Check your bill before you pay. They put a $50 gratuity on my (originally) $127 bill and then proceed to give me an attitude when I asked about it.
John Dory and Brie were amazing!!! Chocolate chip with caramel salted ice cream is a must for desert!
For best results get the Swordfish but ask for it plated like the scallops. Tomatillo salsa and roasted corn. AMAZING!
about ten to twelve varieties are $1, $5 Dogfish Head beer, $7 glasses of select red, white, and sparkling wines, and half-price bottles of sparkling wine. Mon-Fri, 5pm-7pm.
Hide your kids, hide your wife! $1 oyster happy hour (5-7) weekdays!
The rainbow trout and the Manhattans will keep you coming back. The trout is lightly smoked and the Manhattans are made with an artisinal sweet vermouth.
Really good lobster curry and yellow fin tuna
Great atmosphere. Get a seat at the bar and order the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream + a glass of wine :)
Spicy scallops, John dory, grilled rice... Chocolate chip cookie ice cream dessert= amazing!
Front table great for people watching. Crabmeat starter absolutely delicious. Swordfish tuna griddle rice and broccoli rabe w feta all fabulous. Topped off w shared flour less chocolate cake:)
Good but won't come back unless dollar oysters
Beautiful place with great service and an amazing Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm – all oysters for 1$ and all sparkling wines for half the price. Reservation recommended!
Celebrated my birthday here. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere too.
Fluke ceviche! Amazing.
Tuna confit with salami, asparagus on focaccia bread sounds better than it is. Literally dripping with oil, the Tuna is suspiciously similar to the kind that comes in cans. Overpriced and overrated.
The food is just okay, but you can't beat the dollar oysters and half priced bottles of sparkling wine during happy hour!
Oyster Happy Hour 5-7pm. Great spicy drink.
Had some good food here.
Fluye Ceviche Tostada is one of the best ceviches... Maybe the best I've ever had!! 🐠
The milk and honey dessert with peanut butter cake is to die for
Sat at bar Great bar tender- super nice - had the assortment of oysters 👌
Obsessed with this restaurant. Consistently good food and experience!
Lamb ribs, ceviche tostada to start.. Lobster curry and squid ink pasta. Great dinner!
Mon-Fri 5-7pm. $1 oysters, 10 -12 varieties. $7 wine and half price bottles of sparlking wines.
Great service. Great food great atmosphere. Seared tuna pictured....
Lobster curry was very good. The chocolate peanut butter dessert was bland.
$1 all East & West Coast oysters HH M-F 5-7pm w/ $5 drafts & $7 wines!
Escarole caesar. Do it. One of the best salads I have ever had. Chips for the croutons. It was amaze balls. And the parsnip was a great addition against the escarole.
Best oysters ever, get one of each for yourself and yourself alone.
They still seem to be working out the service at lunch but the food was good. Fish tacos were a bit bland but good portion size. Ceviche yummy but small portion. Burger looked amazing!
Delicious food, drinks, and bartenders :) Yogurt-Marinated Atlantic Halibut was very unique and tasty!! We also had Oysters with homemade sauces and Plancha Grilled Octopus. All amazing.
All oysters are $1 and draft beers are $5 from 5-7, M-F. Order 24 oysters at a time. choose from about 15 or so different varieties. Can't beat that!
Organic salmon in black garlic purée with kale and lentils, yum.
The octopus is amazing.
Noisy and slow;(
NY Times: Best tuna sandwich in NYC
Every oyster on the menu is $1 (Monday-Friday, 5-7 p.m.)
Cute restaurant in midtown east with great seafood, friendly service. Loved everything we had - King Salmon App, Octopus salad, Yellowfin Tuna entree
Best Tuna Sandwich: flaky yellowfin tuna cooked confit style tossed in a lemony vinaigrette btwn slabs of toasty, house-baked focaccia & dressed w. arugula & fried artichokes (extra crunch) LUNCH ONLY
Best Tuna Sandwich
The salmon app and John Dory are both must-try's!!
