Best place for a cheap, fast meal in Wicker Park
Get the raw kitfo (Ethiopian beef tartare) or anything with Berbers sauce
The steak and vegetarian arepas are awesome. Especially with the cilantro sauce.
The Chiseled and Forged temporary exhibit is fantastic.
Quieter than Open Eye! Makes it a lot easier to do work. Pick up the free TOCwireless wifi.
Get a late night torta al pastor. They're huge and probably a better value than the tacos. Across from Harris Teeter.
Nice spot to catch a concert. Pretty big space. Can get tough to find a good viewing angle once it gets crowded. Try the balcony.
Tried the beef and pork tacos, along with the fried rice. Everything was pretty bland. Avoid.
Generally mediocre. The fried shrimp & oysters were flavorless, but my girlfriend's seared scallops were surprisingly not bad. Go to the seafood market out back for the good stuff.
Get the Pepito sandwich with beef. Serious eats.
It's the only Browns Backers bar in the Triangle. Not a bad turnout either!
Really good draft beer selection, including a lot of local breweries.
The best reasonably priced sushi restaurant in Chicago. If you don't want to spend more than $30 per person, this is your best bet. They recently expanded, which reduced wait times by a lot.
Nice cafe in downtown Carrboro. Lots of seating inside and out. Use the free TOCwireless wifi to do your work.
Nice variety of arcade games. Good beer list. Not usually too crowded. Solid outdoor space and a good location.
Rent a canoe from Jordan Lake Watersports and spend a few hours paddling around.
Affordable sandwiches. Liked my veal parmigian.
Get a tray with a fancy shake. Chocolate peanut butter is your best bet.
