Portland + Bar Harbor (ME)

Djaniella D.: The most beautiful lighthouse view I've ever seen. Whether it's on a gloomy, rainy, or sunny day, I promise you that this view is worth your trip!

Djaniella D.: This place left me speechless. After all these tips, you'd think that their take on the lobster roll is just a hype... nope! DELICIOUS. Grab 1... or 3 ;) Also be sure to try the oysters & biscuits!

Djaniella D.: Try grabbing a scoop of dark chocolate and a scoop of hazelnut because that combo is like Nutella in gelato form. YUMMY! Also an ice cream shop with games? Can't get any better than that.

Djaniella D.: Eggs Benedict with cheesy hash browns... yum! Perfect portion size, their hollandaise sauce is spot on, and they even include fresh fruits!

Djaniella D.: Give the Green Eggs & Ham a try - delicious homemade sauce! Also, reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Chances are you'll leave here full, satisfied, and wanting to come back for more!

Djaniella D.: Former gas station turned into one of the best coffee shops in town. Love the logo, staff, atmosphere, & of course their coffee! I'd recommend the mocha latte - they use Mast Brothers dark chocolate!

Djaniella D.: Spacious coffee shop! I'd definitely recommend the cold brew... or if you need an extra boost, try the nitro!

Djaniella D.: You can't leave leave Portland without giving this place and their maple latte a try. I'm not from the area so I was a little hesitant to try it, but I'm sure glad I did!

Djaniella D.: Margherita was delicious for those who don't want a tomato sauce based pizza. Thin crust & big slices (this was half of one slice)!

Djaniella D.: Had one of my BEST meals here. Try the poutine & be prepared to have a religious experience. Even the hand cut fries w/ truffle ketchup was superb. Also, the "Original" milkshake is out of this world!

Djaniella D.: Ham & cheese croissant and the financier are personal favorites! The chocolate croissant and sticky buns are also worth a try. Bring a friend and grab a few to share!

Djaniella D.: Cold brew & lattes are the way to go here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Djaniella D.: So glad we took the scenic route from Portland to Bar Harbor. This view is breathtaking and well worth the price to enter the park!

Djaniella D.: Skip everything and get the lobsters. Add corn on the cob and a bottle of blueberry beer and you're set to go!

Djaniella D.: Sea salt caramel and callebeaut chocolate are personal favorites here. Try out some of their mixed flavors - out of the ordinary but surprisingly very good!

Djaniella D.: Lobsters & blueberries are Maine staples so grab a lobster omelette, lobster eggs benedict, or blueberry pancakes. Make sure to also try the biscuits w/ strawberry butter. Two thumbs up for two cats!

Djaniella D.: Blueberry soft serve is perfect. Big portions, so go small.

Djaniella D.: Beautiful views, friendly staff, good food, & good drinks! A little on the outskirts of the town but well worth the drive! Make sure to grab an Old Soaker Root Beer - a Bar Harbor original & favorite!
