Possibly my favorite place in this whole city. A phenomenal spice cavern. If you be fan of mung beans, ghost peppers, frozen parathas, spicy toothpastes, and the like, then prepare to shit yoself.

I love this place. Great for bulk ingredients (rice, quinoa, flour, etc) at low prices. Also, an incredible selection of international spices and cooking ingredients, especially for Asian cuisines.

This small shop near Curry Row is packed with dried spices and grains, fresh herbs, and plenty of beer. A neighborhood destination for Indian and south Asian pantry goods.

Easily 1 of best stores in NYC. Indian spice shop. Get beer here, eat at Panna 2 upstairs and then come back down and buy spices. Been there over a decade, and I really hope this place sticks around.

Come here to get whatever exotic spice you might need. Or to grab an exotic six pack of beer to bring to dinner upstairs at Panna II.

More than a great deal on spices. Check out the dried nuts and beans. Want something quick to cook? Go for the frozen Pratha. Reheats in less than 5 min

When Kalustyan's seems too far, head here, they have nearly everything they do and also a hell of a lot of beer varieties. Spices, dried chilis, grains, oh my.

Ask at the counter for Sweet Paan, a betel leaf wrapped around spices & candies, which you wad in your cheek like a tobacco plug. Get the guy to show you how to insert it.
