2. Union Station Bus Depot
Edwina Lui: Ask at the desk for your gate number, leave, then come back and ask again. There's a good chance you'll get different responses.

Edwina Lui: Non-existent cheese selection. Find a Keyfood!
4. Sarku Japan
Edwina Lui: Must have some new guys on the line. Totally inconsistent portions of meat and vegetables between two orders of the same combo.
5. Hudson Clearwater

6. Chung Wah Salon
Edwina Lui: Ask for Mei :)
7. Ted's Bakery
Edwina Lui: Try one of the haupia (coconut) cream pies. Not only is it a really light coconut flavor, the whole slice is light and delicious!
8. Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach
Edwina Lui: Splash away in the heated saltwater mini-pool tucked away by the elevator to the rear building. Better yet, visit Spa Pure in the main lobby and ask for an 'Ocean Massage' in that pool!
9. Do Hwa
Edwina Lui: Settle in with a ginger kamikaze and ask for more banchan.
10. Ocean Park Inn
Edwina Lui: No one is ever manning the desk. Go next door to the Four Points if you need anything (e.g., a check-in and room key).
11. Murray's Cheese
Edwina Lui: Don't be bashful about asking the staff for their recommendations. Name a flavor or texture you like or want to match, they won't lead you wrong!
12. Taishu-Izakaya Kenka
Edwina Lui: The bathroom doors are marked in Japanese--the one farthest back in the restaurant is the ladies'. Pay attention to the warning posted outside.

Edwina Lui: Standard weekend brunch with my brother: fresh shrimp rice crepes, beef chow fun, steamed Chinese vegetables, and wonton soup.
14. Pound & Pence
Edwina Lui: Sidle up to the bar and order a hot toddy.
