Alaska Amber and old friends!
Carbon based humanoid
Okay, is not really Cliff's dick, it's the Kiwi way to deck.
TSA nazi checking ID on pre check refused to speak and scowled at me. Bad enough the government is up our butts, but they could at least not be rude about it. The "entitled" class is now in charge!
Sweet kitties. Sera and Finn are friendly, Magee and Kit are tough to spot, but cool cats.
There is something seriously disturbing about the wall mural. Do not look directly into the eye of the magician.
This place is cool. Order and pay from the iPad and scanner at your table. Very efficient and sort of fun, especially if traveling alone. Good food too.
Great place to see live Kiwis and maybe even a chick. Money goes toward helping this rare species of bird. Only 375 individuals left.
Nice, well appointed place in the heart of Queenstown. They do find it necessary to charge you 1.5% additional if u pay with a credit card. The first floor near the laundry room had a terrible smell
The staff/owners here are very kind and have a wonderful sense of humor. It is bare bones, but my en suite suited me perfectly. You might even bargain for a lower rate, although I was happy to pay.
Nice place, very helpful staff, and the rooms are quite comfortable. Those pillow top mattresses are amazing!
Be sure to fuel up at The Port and pick up supplies at the grocery store. The people of this old lumber town are among some of the nicest you will meet.
Call one of the numbers listed on the door for someone to come open re gallery up for you.
Great dock to overnight at between Wrangell and Ketchikan. When parking, please remember to leave plenty of room so all boats can fit. Also, order sticky buns from Mrs. Peavey, they are the best!!!!
This is a real seaplane base and its official designation is 84K. Please don't tie your boat to the floatplane dock. There is plenty of room on the state dock. Enjoy!
There is some excellent local art here and a few really good cookbooks. Just call one of the numbers on the door and someone will come open it up for you.
