Bella L. • October 27, 2017One of the most beautiful places I've been. You'll have an overwhelming overview above Los Angeles. Go there by sunset!
eric b. • August 9, 2020Wonderful collection of multiple telescopes and observatories. Lots of history and some amazing view over LA and the San Gabriel’s. Very cool on days when they are open.
Chris S. • January 3, 2016Th observatory at the top of the trail is worth a visit in its own right, but you're missing out on the experience you don't hike up the trail from the base. Feels a bit like gently storming a castle.
Let's Go • April 4, 2011Check out the observatory parking lot for a terrific view of the Hollywood sign, and channel your inner James Dean from Rebel Without A Cause, filmed here in 1955.
naveen • February 23, 2020absolutely worth it for the 360º views – start your hike from Fern Dell for a strong finish. (if you're with others that can't do the full thing, you could also head up from Griffith Observatory)
Shirlei K. • March 13, 2013Great view!!!From griffith observatory and downtown LA all the way to the ocean
Akiko I. • October 3, 2013It's not just a view - panoramic LA city and Hollywood sign. They have a really mild hike and great exhibitions in the observatory. You can enjoy both day & night! Free parking! Great LA sightseeing!
ANNE • February 17, 2014rate views of Hollywood sign.. access to Griffith Observatory, picnic spots, grills..... really nice!
Joe M. • March 20, 2010Fantastic hiking, long or short. Stunning 360 degree views of LA and Valley. Perfect exercise. VERY busy on weekends. Weekdays are perfect. Observatory closed on Monday, which makes it a perfect day.
Liliana M. • November 28, 2015Pack a picnic! Great view of the observatory and Hollywood sign. Art classes on Sunday for the kids at the art school on the campus.
Moe S. • February 24, 2016Hollywood sign is beautiful, but it's hard to take a picture next to it from the front. There are very specific location to do take a shot of it though fromthe Griffths Observatory or Runyon canyon.
nikki • August 12, 2017Hollyhock House, LA Municipal Art Gallery, and cas adding views of Griffith Observatory, the hills, and LA's iconic jacaranda
Bob C. • April 15, 2011The Cafe Trails is great and I you can also do the hike to the Observatory from this area. Have fun with hike and the rest in the picnic area afterward.
Jay W. • September 1, 2011This place probably has one of the best views included with The Griffin Observatory!
Nick D. • November 7, 2018The new BLT is EXCELLENT!!
