Peter S. • August 2, 2018Must stop area when in South Boston, especially in the summer. Checking out the fort, the beach and the park is very relaxing and cool
BU Today • July 2, 2013It may not be California, but Malibu Beach is a great place to sunbathe while taking in views of Boston harbor. Malibu Beach boasts a new bathhouse & is close to the amenities at Savin Hill Beach.
BU Today • July 19, 2012If you don't want to go all the way to the Cape for some great beach time, just head to Constitution Beach. A new bathhouse, tennis courts, handball courts and a picnic area make this spot extra fun.
C B. • July 25, 2019I love coming here. Easy to park and don’t have to carry your stuff far. You can go out far at low tide
Emily T. • July 5, 2013Awesome beach, mellow crowd, nice water. Good beach to go to north of Boston.
Emma L. • July 21, 2013Always been one of my favorite beaches growing up. Pretty much all rocks instead of sand. Also watch out because it drops off pretty quick.
Nancy M. • August 30, 2019Love this beach, it’s so scenic. I have to stop every time we drive by and take a photo. Even if it’s at night..
Irene B. • July 22, 2019Surprising find on a hot summer day. Loved exploring and learning the history.
BU Today • July 2, 2013While we don't recommend swimming (the remains of a rumored Whitey Bulger victim were found here in 2000), this often sparsely populated beach is great for ocean breezes and views of downtown Boston.
BU Today • July 2, 2013Together with M Street Beach, this is home to one of the longest stretches of uninterrupted beach in Boston and the L Street Brownies, a local group of swimmers that take to the ocean year-round.
BU Today • July 2, 2013Savin Hill Beach features protected swimming areas & baseball fields. Take in views of the world’s largest copyrighted artwork, the rainbow swash on a Keyspan gas tank, a well-known Boston landmark.
BU Sustainability • June 7, 2012A great place to de-stress, and you can access it right from BU Beach! Go for a run, bring your bike, or just chill on one of the docks!
Reshma • June 22, 2012Make sure to explore around the WWI bunkers and wear comfortable shoes, the terrain is constantly changing throughout the island.
Jenn B. • April 17, 2017Amazing view of the city! Dog friendly and easy trails. The beach area was full of trash though :(
