Tiah • July 25, 2017Was a big disappointment. Thought it was similar to Coney Island but was not. Nice if you are just looking for a beach. I'm thinking we maybe didn't walk far enough.

Julio I. • July 16, 2013Great and tranquil place, bring beer; sandwiches and your favorite person. The beach is incredible, it's an love channel; there's plenty of romance here. Especially if you find someone that has music.
Alex • July 27, 2013Surprising VERY respectable pleasant beach! Clean. Not too crowded and with amenities. Thoroughly impressed.
A.J. F. • August 29, 2011When crowded with surfers, head to Beach 66th (either walk the boardwalk or take the Q23). Great rights and lefts anywhere between the jetties parallel to Beach 68th thru Beach 59th.
Carolyn H. • August 25, 2013It's pretty nice after a makeover after sandy they've got a nice beach bar on the boardwalk
Martina C. • July 11, 2018Best beach at the Rockaway. You need to walk a bit to reach it, but it’s worthier, and so quiet!
Suki • August 7, 2017Awesome spot in the mornings before work, not too crowded. Weekends are packed.
Maria P. • August 18, 2012Must complete the 12 mile bike ride to Fort Tilden. It's a historical landmark. You'll also be rewarded with a great cardio workout. Favorably scenic for the photo guru..
Damian B. • June 19, 2015Public beach w restrooms, food, drinks and surf boards available. When facing the ocean, swimming happens on the left of the rock break and surfing on the right (don't get whistled at)
Stephanie J. • July 10, 2011Don't behave like you're a D.F.D. if u feel the need to be D.F.D. @ this beach (Down For the Day). Residents take pride in this beach n have little tolerance 4 noise, yelling, garbage, loud music etc
