Eatocracy • June 10, 2010A taste of Tokyo is hidden in the basement of a Midtown East office building -- your friends will be impressed you found this place. Go for lunch and sake -- their platters are a multi-course steal.
Norman E. • February 22, 2011If you'd really like to see what the view looks like from the top, make an appt with one of the dentists on the top floors. Get a cleaning and enjoy the view.
The Corcoran Group • September 24, 2010Classy atmosphere and amazing views of the Chrysler building, when the roof is open. We found the drinks to be too expensive and the music not so good.
Mike M. • August 17, 2011This organization, dedicated to understanding and appreciation of the Japanese culture, presents numerous programs and exhibits. The building, funded by John Rockefeller III and built in the early 70s
Hotel Tonight • August 19, 2011The "Upstairs" lounge is 30 stories above the street and features a retractable glass ceiling for year-round views of the Chrysler Building.
Beekman Tower - Living by BridgeStreet • March 3, 2016The doorman at this affordable long term hotel, has been there for 30 years. The building was built in 1928 but it has been fully renovated and serviced apartments are like hotels with kitchens!
Katie E. • July 19, 2016Don't ever forget your government ID otherwise no access to the building & whoever you're going to see won't be happy. (Messenger entrance on the south east side of building by loading dock).
Xian X. • November 19, 2011And a view of the Chrysler building from the patio, too!! Say Hi to Joseph the lovely bartender
Anna M. • October 24, 2013I know it's kinda weird to go into the basement food court of a random midtown office building for a taco but where the hell else are you gonna get a decent taco in this neighborhood?
Nicole R. • April 4, 2018Take a tour in the morning to avoid long lines. Be sure to purchase tickets online a few weeks in advance. The day of, get there early so you can pick up your visitor’s pass in a separate building.
Elliot C. • October 14, 2018Great Japanese bbq, drinks and service with floor-to-ceiling windows in midtown east building
Xian • November 8, 2013Get lots of indoor seating/bathroom a block away at a public space atrium such as the Citigroup building.
Jamie I. • April 8, 2018This mid-town location is perfect for doing just about anything in NYC. The rooms are small, but this historic building is clean and has exactly what you need. The hotel staff is exceptional!
Kristine R. • January 30, 2016Business-attire recommended. Often a part of NY Restaurant Week. Smaller portions. Pricey. Within walking distance of Chrysler building. Extensive wine list.
Iván F. • July 26, 2011There's free wi-fi from the nearby United Nations buildings. Best seats to catch it? The ones at the front of the plaza.
Felicia Y. • March 21, 2010The building was demolished a few years ago. Was a great venue to do Sunday brunch. Also had live music during the week. The hood lost a nice place.
Fernando F. • February 24, 2015The smallest Avis place I've been... Almost hidden within the city buildings. It is very convenient that the Hampton Inn is next to it.
Lindsay S. • October 12, 2012Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge.
