Marie • June 16, 2014From HWY 220, take the Bassett, VA exit onto HWY 57 West. Go approx 10 miles to Goose Point Rd. Look for brown Goose Point Park sign, turn right, then go 5 miles on a paved road to the park entrance.

Phil T. • August 2, 2010Because of the power plant the water temp varies on the lake. The water around the plant is warm and great for late season swims. If looking for a cool dip stick to the parts south of the bridge.
