Kim B. • August 22, 2010Another great old cemetery. I noticed several markers that were broken or falling over. Definitely made for interesting photos.
Kim B. • August 22, 2010Is it weird to have a favorite cemetery? This is definitely in my top 3 in the area. Interesting stones, lots to explore. If you like taking photos of cemeteries, this place is for you.
Robert M. • September 18, 2010Beautiful place for a stroll and DC's oldest cemetery!
Charlotte S. • April 11, 2013So sad this cemetery is in such disrepair with gravestones piled up on each other
Dawn H. • February 13, 2011I have a long relationship with THIS cemetery. I give it 5 stars! Even though it needs work, A LOT of help & big "NOT A DOG PARK" sign! One of the most serene places I come to hide from everyone~
Maryland Milestones • November 3, 2011Situated on a hill above the Anacostia River, this site was the point of action in the War of 1812 and a major circle fort during the Civil War. The "Little Chapel" has amazing stained glass.
Jason B. • September 28, 2013This small veterans cemetery should not be mistaken for it's bigger general cemetery adjacent (whose main entrance is on Wilkens).
Maryland • May 3, 2012Star-Spangled Site: Mary Pickersgill, the flagmaker who made the huge U.S. flag – the Star-Spangled Banner – that flew over Fort McHenry, is buried here.
James C. • February 24, 2017Amazing awe inspiring location. It is a historic site that must be honored and viewed. The memorial to the fallen is breath taking.
