Jenya S. • August 28, 2016Great for running, multiple open air gyms and group exercise on the common. Regular music performances at the Band Stand, perfect on a summer day. Nice cafe nearby serves plentiful ice cream.
Dave M. • September 12, 2015Take a moment to meditate and relax at the stunning pagoda. Vistas along the Thames are amazing.
Opera C. • December 6, 2020A travesty of town planning. An once beautiful building surrounded by "luxury living". Incomprehensible, inexcusable.
Ivan R. • August 23, 2014Best playground in miles, suitable from early ages to early teen. Bus stops not far and a couple of good restaurants at walking distance. There's an adjacent outdoor cafè for "emergencies"
Fiona M. • July 21, 2013One of the most beautiful and least frequented parts of Battersea Park. Well worth a visit!
Chris H. • November 5, 2015Lovely walk by the embankment of Chelsea offering scenic views of the Thames and boats. Plenty of fresh air here too!
Duncan H. • May 28, 2016Wonderful, theatrical, bizarre - so worth a visit. Plants are on sale at 4pm on Saturday, but reserve earlier in the day and be on time to miss the chaotic crush as the bell rings!
Morgans Hotel Group • August 20, 2012Thomas & Jane Carlyle are almost forgotten today, yet in Victorian era they were A-list celebs. Almost everything in the house is genuinely original and the curator is tremendously knowledgeable
Jack S. • January 10, 2023Book online for off-peak, standard & peak ticket prices. Flat rate price when buying in person on the day, which can be £5 more expensive. Make the most of the sky line views, as it lasts only 8 mins.
paul d. • October 31, 2012Imperial Wharf Marina is a mid-stream floating pontoon, accessed from land via the gate next to Battersea Rail Bridge. Pier Master is Glyn. He lives in the barge at the entry and is very nice!
Style by Stylism • October 15, 2011Battersea park is one of the best parks. They have a boating lake, zoo, running track, tennis courts and lots more. Its underrated compared to Hyde park, however Battersea is the one to watch out for!
Richard B. • December 4, 2011The trees last leaves whistle in the night under a solemn sky. Winded, the dog fox waits patiently while I walk around once more, listening for the arriving rain in this cold, wet autumnal prelude.
