Erik R. • January 20, 2017Leave the city behind and explore the dusty terrain! Plenty of hiking trails, seek out the old zoo grounds, marvel at the Hollywood sign, discover the stars and city view at the Griffith Observatory.
Kat L. • August 4, 2013Gorgeous views along w/ a great workout! Less people than at Runyon Canyon. Wear running shoes, trails can be slippery. Next to the zoo & golf course so it's a perfect spot for the whole family!
Idea Monkey, Inc. • July 29, 2011In 1912 The Griffith Park Zoo opened featuring 15 animals. It was enhanced and expanded in 1937 by the Federal Works Progress Administration. In 1966 the zoo closed and move to its current location.

Derek F. • July 21, 2013Pretty steep at $3 a ride, w/no discounts for multiple rides or members, but nice choice of zoo animals for kids to choose from. Adults ride free accompanying toddlers. 2 benches available for babies.
Tina F. • March 22, 2011The best food at the zoo is @ Reggie's...its a little pricey but if you have to eat ay the zoo this place is worth it. They have beer, wine and desserts too.
knappst3r • September 3, 2012The park & ride from the zoo worked wonderfully, easy all round. It's a $5 round trip, and the parking at the zoo is free. #win
Ryan P. • September 24, 2015They look like skunks and are very playful! Watch as they try to climb and fall!
