The Whistler's are all impressive but especially the Peacock room
There is no longer a gift shop in the Freer Gallery of Art. Try the Sackler :(
Not sure what's better about the Freer, the great collection of Asian art or the fact that tourists seemingly like to avoid it.
Free entry, worth visiting for the Peacock room and the brilliant garden. Wonderful collection of Asian and Islamic art.
Great international films

Breathtaking. The displays are awesome. Never enough time to give each piece the viewing it deserved. The Peacock Room alone is mesmerizing.
Peacock Room was great-not to miss. Enjoyed the portraits and the intricacies of Whistler's sketches.
The courtyard here is an excellent spot for reflection.
The Peacock Room is under natural light every 3rd Thursday

See the hands rolls of fliers, birds, insects by Qian Xyan. 4 of them, delicate study of nature...
Go to the courtyard during fall, absolutely breathtaking.
The most quiet museum on the Mall--serene, peaceful.
Love it because it's never super packed with tourists. The courtyard is pretty gorgeous as well. One of my favorite museums
