Jake's is amazing. The sandwiches are all so unique and tasty. I have tried almost every sandwich and side and love them all. Just tried the 50/50 and it is my new favorite. Side of fried onions!

Not your traditional cheesesteak but still tasty. Delicious fried pickles with sriracha mayo and the farm fries are stuff of legend. I'd definitely recommend and likely revisit on returning to Philly.

Call your cardiologist prior to stepping into this place. In fact you might see you cardiologist in line ahead of you. Ability to make any sandwich into a bowl is a nice option for the Atkins dieters.

Even though they were out of the grilled pineapple, the Pineapple Express was a fantastic sandwich! The rest of my party also thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches. I will definitely be back!

Best sandwich place in Philly, hands down. Split the turbacon and an order of fries with a friend. Uniquely, the fries are also intergalactically good.

The Sloppy Dog, two deep fried hot dogs with french fries all in a sandwich, looks intimidating but is the perfect sloppy sandwich mix. Grab a green tea and you'll feel good about yourself.

So far I've had the chili fries, the Cherry float, the orange soda, and the Classic Sandwich. All really good. And they have amazing music. Just classic!

The sandwiches here taste great, but the past three times I've tried to come, they have closed unreasonably early for no apparent reason. (i.e. 7:15-7:30 when the hours say open until eight)

I got the 50/50. Good bread and very solid pork. Bacon was disappointing - thin, flimsy, flavorless. Would still come back.

Pretty darn good and greasy. I had mortadella. My only complaint: they had a tour group come in while patrons were eating. I found that inappropriate.
