Opened July 1st 2010, Grand Coffee has taken "3rd wave coffee," previously the providence of chic boutique cafes, and brought it to the City's most culturally and economically diverse neighborhood- The Mission.
Good place in the morning. Lots of local customers. They serve four barrel coffee. There's not much seating, so take it to go.
This place is perfect. Great coffee.
Their coffee brews are amazing, I have been buying coffee from this place for the past week and I can taste the difference from other shops, I wonder how they do it.
What a lovely little pocket in the middle of nothing on mission. Opens early which is great.
Everything I like about a coffee shop. Great light roasts and pastries. The place is small and usually end up one big conversation
The cafe of champions. Attracts a loyal set of regulars for their coffee and of-so-tempting pastries.
Lattes and other espresso drinks. Unexpected location. Edgy vibe. Not a sit down and socialize place. Just grab and go
The creme brûlée puff pastry is out this world. Somewhere between an egg tart, a croissant, creme brûlée, and heaven.
Super friendly- wish I were a regular.
Buy a bag of 4B and order a Shaken iced coffee on the house.
Square Order for a quick pickup
Best place to grab a cup on mission.
Great coffee comes in small retail settings.
Four barrel coffee and coming expert baristas. Be careful, you might miss this home in the wall gem a block away from BART
Whole milk cappuccino.👍
Good to-go coffee on the way to work / 24th Street BART station. My favorite is shaken iced coffee and iced mocha with shaved dark chocolates!
It's like the cafe grumpy of mission street: fine coffee, cranky barista
Shaken frappe style ice coffee (and no I don't mean the bastardized version by Starbucks). Grab a pastry and sit outside.
really good croissants here too
"serves Four Barrel espresso drinks, summery refreshers like egg cream soda, and tasty provisions from local purveyors like Bike Basket Pies, Fearless Chocolate and Knead Patisserie"
Barista seemed intent on double charging me for a cup of coffee.
They put water in their iced soy lattes to fill up the glass. Ask for no water!
Quick if you're in a rush, but if you're not, Nabeel and crew are always up for interesting conversation, and the other customers are very friendly.
Now with 100% more tea!
The iced coffee is all shaken up and stuff... Try it with sugar and cream for the full effect.
Quite strong, great local hangout and fun staff.
Quaint little coffee shop serving Four Barrel not too far from 24th BART. You might almost miss it, but if you're looking for a convenient spot for some quite-good coffee, it's worth seeking it out.
Try the Croissants - It ain't much to look at but its the closest thing to a Paris croissant I've found in the city.
Try the iced coffee... Not your ordinary preparation!
The kind of place where four people are here, and three have already checked in on 4sq
espresso drinks are solid. pastries are amazing. space is tiny.
Creme brulee pastry in the morning for a delicious, unique breakfast
tiny cozy little spot serving Four Barrel. On Mission and not Valencia!
you really have to get in there early if you want a croissant...
Coffee tastes like a dump
Coffee worth a Grand...
The space that is now Grand Coffee on Mission used to be the concessions stand for the now defunct theatre.
Amazing croissants in the morning.
Ask about the off-menu items.
Grand Coffee is amazing. Excellent coffee (cappuccino is my favorite) plus pastries, cupcakes, jams, lemonade, lime rickeys and Brooklyn egg creams. Love it!
New coffee joint bringing 4 barrel 2mission street!
