Good food at a great value.
Tavares, Florida lawyer practicing civil litigation and appeals related to real property, business law, guardianship, wills, trusts, and estates.
The zarzuela de mariscos is very tasty BUT very messy. The shrimp is served tails on and the lobster is in a sauce covered split shell. The sauce gets everywhere! Sadly, I won't order it again.
If you like peel and eat shrimp, the Yucatan Shrimp is fabulous. I've never seen anything like it anywhere else. The key lime pie is delightfully tart. The clam chowder is a bit too thick, but tasty.
Fabulous smoked mullet. The dinner is a pound of fish. We split a dinner. Cash only.
Comfortable modern theater with plush seats, great sound, and digital projection cleverly disguised as an old barn.
Wednesday nights they have a 14 ounce ribeye steak special with 2 sides for $11.95 or chicken for $8.95. Old Florida atmosphere on the Dead River.
Huge buffet with a variety of foods. If you like Chinese buffets, give it a try.
They don't serve breakfast after 10:30 a.m. even for lunch.
Great burgers but they allow smoking so if you're a non-smoker you may want to take a pass. I will.
Nothing fancy but clean and pleasant and right on the beach. Step out your door and on to the sand. We love it.
Very expensive ($8.95 for an omelet and the bacon or sausage is an extra $2.95), but everything is fresh and delicious. The grits are creamy and not instant.
Great salad bar. It is easy to eat here if you're on a diet, including low carb and South Beach.
When ordering takeout ALWAYS check order before leaving. They frequently mess up the order here.
Looking for a surf shop tee? They have much nicer t-shirts than Ron Jon's here. They're soft, comfy cotton with a generous cut and cool designs.
A great deli. The overstuffed deli sandwiches are great. The Reuben is highly recommended. The matzo ball and chicken and noodle soups are to die for!
Beautiful example of the "carpenter gothic" style of church popular in Florida pioneer settlements.
Free wifi. Spinach quiche at the Nature's Table is okay. Prices a bit high, but they always are at rest stops.
$6.99 express lunch menu with both sandwiches and plated meals with 2 sides and maduros.
