Jimmy Hooker: Only a few selections, but they do really solid pour-over coffee. They're like the anti-Philz.

Jimmy Hooker: Another place with enormous, delicious, night-ending burritos. The green sauce isn't spicy, but is good.

Jimmy Hooker: Enormous, delicious burritos, the carnitas is my favorite. Their verde salsa is also very competitive.

Jimmy Hooker: A huge variety of really good sandwiches. One of the better places in the mission.

Jimmy Hooker: Solid, affordable Indian food. The Chicken Biryani is my favorite.

Jimmy Hooker: Everyone loves this place for good reason, it is consistent and delicious. There is always a line out the door, which can be intimidating, but it moves fast.

Jimmy Hooker: Great, simple, consistent breakfast.

Jimmy Hooker: In the Haight, this is a pretty great spot for a late night yuppie burrito.

Jimmy Hooker: This pizza is decent for late night and in the Haight, but it does not compare to Arinell's.

Jimmy Hooker: Their classic breakfast is very solid, and they have FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE. Also it's affordable.

Jimmy Hooker: Feels like you're going back in time. Everything is amazing. Try the thin sliced salmon and eat a ton of oysters. The line is serious though, and they often run out of food. Get there early.

Jimmy Hooker: The coffee is great in general, but you should really get the New Orleans Iced Coffee. There's a reason people rave about it.

Jimmy Hooker: Really good oysters, and to be honest, their grilled cheese is messed up how good it is. Their grilled cheese might be more worth the trip than the oysters.

Jimmy Hooker: The falafel and lamb gyros are great, this is a worthy place to eat. There is almost no seating (two stools), but you can walk across the street to the Embarcadero Center and hang out.

Jimmy Hooker: The pineapple fried rice and the spicy basil are really great.

Jimmy Hooker: The angel wings are incredible

Jimmy Hooker: My favorite breakfast place in San Francisco. Get their namesake dish, so, so good. The waits are brutal, but worth it. Those lemon ricotta pancakes...

Jimmy Hooker: Perhaps one of the most hipster places in the mission (which is saying a lot, the name of this place... wtf), but the Rebel Within is worth the hype. It's delicious and worth the visit.

Jimmy Hooker: I eat here way too much, but their carnitas burrito is great and the verde salsa is phenomenal. I could drink their verde salsa straight up.

Jimmy Hooker: Delicious carnitas burritos, but the salsa is just 'so so', and I consider the salsa to be the huge differentiator in the mission.

Jimmy Hooker: I liked it, but this definitely leans towards yuppie Mexican food, especially when compared to the incredible Mexican you can find just around it in the Mission. Also, two hour waits on Fri/Sat.

Jimmy Hooker: A hip italian spot in the Mission, everything was good. Expect more conservative portions relative to other italian places. Worth the visit, but get a reservation on Fri/Sat.
