Perfectly cooked octopus
Careful with the vindaloo burger. It's tasty but Def on the spicier side. Also, always sub poutine for the regular fries
Great little patio spot. Known for pizza but pork chop is killer. Add on the meatball main as an appetizer.
Get a couple friends together for the fressers platter to make your own pastrami and chopped liver sammies
Obviously great ice cream, but the cookies are great too.
Mixed review. Food was excellent, but the service was rude, slow, and unskilled. At one point the waitress slammed a plate into a glass as she was setting it down, actually chipping the glass.
Amazing service, beautiful building, spectacular rooftop terrace.
The pastries are fantastic. The staff is very friendly if you are polite (and speak a little italian)
Open since 1886 and great for a perfectly cooked fiorentina. A bit touristy but most everything in firenze is.
Touristy but still excellent. Solid papardelle ai chingiale, super tasty osso buco, delicious carcoffi fritti, but spinach contorno was way oversalted
Solid neighborhood restaurant and pizzeria. Not a "hidden little spot" people love to chance upon, but solid pizze and pasta with great service and a local crowd
Most beautiful piazza in rome. If you see the museum make sure to get the view of the forum from the "tabularium" (some debate as to if it was actually a tabularium, but that's what it's called now)
Use the first come first serve lounges. Ruby on 5th floor is great to work in
The menu is good but the kitchen is super inconsistent. Overcooked eggs on the benedict, and broken hollandaise. Overcooked steak and undercooked over medium eggs. Just a terribly managed kitchen.
Tough to go wrong with a classic diner tuna melt, and a malt. Also the grass fed sliders are a nice addition to the menu
Small farmers market, but some great stalls: fish guy, frozen gourmet french meals, lobster rolls, and amazing plots and plums in the summer months
Stick with the duck, it's superb. The recommended noodles were decent but nothing special. If you need more food get the Wonton soup; it's solid but very much like what you'd make at home.
