Best and biggest sandwiches in the loop. Best chili in the Chicago-land area. However is recommend picking one of the two. Otherwise you may need a friend to wheel you out on a gurney.

If you go there be sure to bring your appetite, sandwiches are humongous! Oh and by the way, DO NOT, under any circumstances, answer your cell phone while in the restaurant!

Been here 10+ times
order an Ormand Street but ask for pastrami rather than roast beef. Has slaw, russian dressing (their secret), corned beef, pastrami and cheese.

Try the chili. It is only available Tues and Thur but well worth it. It is spicy with a taste of brown sugar. Very good.

At Perry's Deli on Franklin, if you have your cell phone out, you'll either be yelled at over a loudspeaker, not served, or both.
