- The Times and Sunday TimesSeptember 26, 2014The best dim sum you can get in a traditional, big old lanterns-and-dragons Chinese. It has a much bigger menu than Royal China, far more specials, and much edgier stuff... Read more
- João JerónimoNovember 25, 2017Cheung feng is really to die for, this place is highly underrated, this is really a 10. Every place I have been that has a higher rating than Phoenix Palace is not as good as it. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍
- Food can be good or bad depending on the time of day. Sometimes they'll give you processed meat and other not so good food if it's quiet. Btw the young waiter is very friendly, service with a smile :)
- "Cold tossed baby octopus in chilli, lemon &garlic dressing" is one of the best dishes ever. I would take a picture if we could stop eating it.
- JacquesMay 13, 2015One if the best Chinese in London. Decided to try the lobster noodles. Have found my new favorite dish. Will definitely be coming back
- João JerónimoFebruary 17, 2018By the way I meant the eel cheung feng, the others are good too but the eel cheung feng is the best by far.
- Haaris ZafarNovember 16, 2014Dim sum lunch better option than a dinner here. Staples like prawns in garlic and chilli dry and Szechuan chicken are tasty and spicy.
- Bijan YoungJanuary 18, 2015Typical large Chinese with plenty of locals. Good food and slow, surly service. What else do you need?" For the authentic experience.
- Rachel Wang PangOctober 12, 2015Very good selection of chinese food. Pretty typical. I like it because they have the soup I like. Good service.
- Evening StandardMay 14, 2012This thriving Chinese restaurant excels at what are known as "clay pot" dishes — slow cooked casseroles to the rest of us. Great gravy, great flavours. Read more
- Leigh HoangSeptember 18, 2014Very good quality Chinese food and dim sum. Remember to book a table in advance though
- Soft shell crab. Cantonese rôtisserie (duck, pork, chicken). Jackie Chan and Tony Blair are fans.
- Ellesse SantanderDecember 22, 2013The monkfist & peking duck are the must amongst the list to devour with...much recommended:))
- Andrey KleninOctober 30, 2011Try Szechuan Set Menu - it's simply awesome! Caution: lots of food - 2 sets will be for sure enough for 3 adults ;)
- Jade TokarczykDecember 7, 2013Always great service and reliably good food. For those parents : super child friendly!
- João JerónimoNovember 25, 2017CHEUNG FENG. Stop doing what you are doing and go have some cheung feng at Phoenix Palace. It's the best thing you can eat.
- Gary SimmonsMay 28, 2013Very good dim sum and lavish decor! Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/phoenix-palace-review-nw1/
- Dapo OlasiyanAugust 29, 2015Brilliant tasting food. Now top of my list for Chinese food whenever I want to eat out next
- PamoNovember 18, 2016Well.. we had a good visit previously. Today, we can't say we recommend.... the Cantonese beef was too sweet. And the chicken cashew should be called "Tasteless"
- MarMarch 23, 2012Peking duck and crispy chilli beef are always top on the list or BBQ pork buns at lunch time
- One of the best Chinese restaurants in London. Have attended many a banquet here as well - lobster noodles and suckling pig are amazing
- Sophia VJuly 23, 2017Takeaway menu is the same price as the restaurant. Fair enough, a lot of restaurants are like that. But the quality of food was substandard along with the veg/protein portion. Never again
- Clea RomeoMarch 29, 2015Nice food but crap service. Had to ask 4 times for a beer, 3 times for water and chase them a few times for the bill. So frustrating! Won't go back. Only time I've refused to pay the service charge
- Angela KhodeirOctober 7, 2012Have been happily going here regularly for Dim Sum, however won't be coming back. After ordering our last Dim Sum dish, it was over a 20 minute wait. And the staff said it was our fault it was late!
- Try the seabass and century egg congee!! Such a nice combination
- James BibbyAugust 13, 2010Great Chinese. For the adventurous, Ask for the pickled jellyfish that's off menu, it's great.
