Fascinating architcture! Huge but wellorganized place. McDonald's is open 24/7, very cleantoilets Rail & Fresh for 1 € tax with returning 0,50 € bon usable in fastfoodrestaurants.
Beautiful station, designed by Meinhard von Gerkan.Starbucks in here is a rip off.Vapiano on site is a heaven for Italian food and drink.Europaplatz ->buses-tram.Washingtonplatz ->no buses,no tram
Beautiful station, designed by Meinhard von Gerkan. Beware: transfers from regular trains to S-Bahn takes at least 6 minutes as you have to climb several floors.
Great train station, clean, a number of shops that are also open on the Sunday. Various places to get food for the train ride. If you need to use the toilet, go there first, then redeem your voucher!
My favourite railway station. Rewe, Rossmann, great selection of food stands (the sushi one is not bad at all) - all you can possibly want is here. Not to forget the beautiful architecture.
I really like this place, there are lots of shops, so you will never get bored here. Also the bus which goes to TXL close to the railway station. I feel home in Berlin, I love Berlin <3
You'll find the cheapest mineral water at the REWE supermarket in Level -1, one litre for about one Euro. - Avoid the expensivesnack shops for buying drinks! And enjoy Berlin!
Fascinating building because of the modern architecture and its history. When visiting it make sure you've read a bit of the background. Makes you appreciate it even more.
5 floors high station where you need to find right lift to take you to right platform :) There are clean paid restrooms, ticket can be latter used in shops to buy food.
Nice station, but if you need to change your PEDs, and you cannot access the DB lounge, your only choice is the Tourist Bureau. Thankfully they have a nice little rest area with a few outlets.
A very nice station, there's quite a good doner stand outside,a supermarker inside and so on,shitty wifi though. And its a bit difficult to find a good coffee for a good price. It has starbucks though
Platforms 1-8 underground and 11-14 above-ground for ICE and Regional Trains. 9-10 will be used for the future S21 S-Bahn line. 15-16 for S3,S5,S7 and S9 S-Bahn lines. U-Bahn platforms are separate.
More like a shopping mall with over 70 shops and restaurants, with railway lines running above and below. Opened in 2006, there's still relatively little surrounding development, with just a few hotels
This bahnhof is quiet impressive. I managed to get lost in there a few times and still don't everything that is inside. Apotheke and grocery store is 24/7 and that is wonderful.
There are luggage lockers around and they are pretty cheap. The short term ones are more expensive if you need them for a day, but they are most likely free.
When traveling between Berlin Hbf and Leipzig Hbf always use InterConnex! 7:51 - 9:18 Berlin to Leipzig, 9:31 - 10:51 Leipzig/Berlin, 17:02 - 18:30 Berlin/Leipzig, 18:55 - 20:14 Leipzig/Berlin
Kaiser's supermarket can be found on the lower floors (near track 3&4) offers reasonable prices and good selection to make your trip more comfortable :)
Main railways station of Berlin and one of the busiest of all of Germany. Metro, S-Bahn, regional and long distance intercity (including high speed) services.
Great place for spending the night. The hbf is a great place to go. McDonalds is open all night, their toilets are free. Station remains staffed with Polizei and DB-Staff. Times flies by!
There is a great double decker bus that starts here and loops all around the city's prime attractions that is part of reg. Berlin public transport. See the whole city in ~ 1 hr.
The pharmacy here is open 24/7 and also on Sundays and holidays, most other shops like drugstores, supermarkets, fashion stores and restaurants in the station are open.
