- Andy MartensNovember 5, 2014Very large portions. Clearly designed with tourists in mind, although this isn't a bad thing. Surrounding park is great both before and after one visits the biergarten itself.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- David CorujoSeptember 13, 2017Huge biergarten with plenty of tables. There's a band on the Chinese tower playing traditional music, nice atmosphere. There's a restaurant and a self-service with typical German food (and beer ofc!)Upvoted 1 week ago
- elGriego.NETJune 24, 20178/10 I've been sometimes here and I like it. Sometimes it is the best place to enjoy your beer with your lunch but I believe wherever you go inside the English Park you'll enjoy it maybe much further.
- cnelson ︻╦╤─October 5, 2014Great place to hit during Oktoberfest if you want a more mellow experience! Liters of beer, pretzels, and sausages with no crowds!
- MIGUEL Glz.August 17, 2022No matter if you bring your own food, just buy a big glass of beer and you will done right ! 🤘
- John DyeJune 13, 2019🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 Great atmosphere and energy! Want non-alcoholic beer? They’ve got it. Want dessert? They’ve got it. Also, pretzels are a MUST here. 👍🏼💥👍🏼💥
- Harri M-menSeptember 8, 2022Traditional German beer garden with everything you would expect from such institution. Quite expensive when compared to some less known alternatives nearby.
- Luis NeiraAugust 31, 2013A "must visit" in Munich. Typical variety of Bavarian cuisine, great Weiss Beer, and of course, the Band playing "Que viva España" and other typical German songs...
- Kerem AkbasliJuly 18, 2017Variety of food choices..mac & cheese and chicken wings 👍🏻also german local foods are delicious and fresh..casual atmosphere..
- 103372 -9February 23, 2018One of the magnificent place to drink sth.in Munich. At the very middle of the nature.
- Try and find something with a view of the live band if you can. Or at least somewhere where you can hear them. Also some places here have table service.
- Michael StepanovAugust 14, 2012Very good place to drink the beer, eat good food and, of course, meet new friends! Note, if you get your beer before joining food queue then waiting will be better :)
- Amazing place to bring anyone new in town. Quite a unique experience to enjoy a beer in the garden here.
- Narayan VFebruary 16, 2019Spacious Biergarten, child and pet friendly, tucked within greenery all around!Upvoted Mar 16
- Tihana Ana R.August 11, 2015very touristic spot. huge biergarten. however, it's still possible and likely that you will enjoy 1L of beer from "maß" even if you are not exactly a fan of crowded places.
- Alexi TauzinAugust 17, 2014The best biergarten in Munich! 1L of beer + sausages and frites for 12€. You gotta do this if you visit Munchen ;)
- Marcello MansoJune 3, 2015Typical German Biergarten. I tried all the different sausages plus the huge pretzel!
- Augie JagauNovember 8, 2015If the Hendl (fried chicken) is out have the Leberkäs instead! But have a Maß of beer.
- Not the best, but the best known beer garden. If you like the TV show "Upstairs, Downstairs" & its the 3rd Sunday in July: show up at 5 am and enjoy "Kocherlball"
- Cesar Dominguez ValleAugust 8, 2013Great BeerGarden and live bavarian music. The pretzels are no so good but red sausages with potatoes are much better!! :)
- Isa BoslerApril 15, 2012Lovely atmosphere (not as touristy as the e.g. the Hofbräuhaus). Want to have a "double beer garden experience"? Talk a fifteen-minute walk through the park to the "Seeshaus".
- Ece YılmazOctober 29, 2018There is a restaurant called "Gaststatte Chinesischer Turm". It is near turm. But this restaurant sucks. Never ever go there. The taste of the cakes are bad, cakes are not fresh.waitresses are rude.
- Roberta ZouainMarch 4, 2012Amazing place to have a beer at the Englisch Garten. Prefer to go on weekends as some of the restaurants might be closed on business days.
- Wonderful music, beautiful forest scenery, and amazing beer. Chinesischer Turm is definitely one of my favorite biergartens!
- LufthansaSeptember 14, 2010The ‘English Garden’ is Munich’s green lung — and one of the biggest parks in the world. In the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) beer garden you can relax and enjoy a beer.
- Andre MohrJune 26, 2017A bit expensive maybe for beers, it's 8,40€ for 1 litre, but the atmosphere and surroundings are great
- Joe RoSeptember 27, 2013You can buy a big or small mug from them here for 2.80 euros each! And they are like 10 euros at the actual haufbrauhaus!
- IlyaJune 14, 2019There are several self-service area, which offer the very same food and beer. The place serves Hofbräu
- Andreas HolzapfelJuly 2, 2017Might be okay when just visiting Munich once, but there are SO many places with better food and a lot more authenticity
- Mat NicholDecember 15, 2012Has to be done at least once. It's massive so always seats available. Have a halb Hendl & Pommes with your mass.
- Doug WAugust 12, 2017If you're staying at the Hilton Munich Park and you don't make the 5 minute walk here you're just wrong.
- Ouriel AttalAugust 8, 2014A bit touristy bit good comfort food from Germany and go walk in the park it is very relaxing
- Tammy HoAugust 22, 2015Love the comfort food, atmosphere and being able to walk through the englisch garten
- Marialeka K GApril 19, 2018The food is very tasteful, especially if you go on a working day..the prices are a bit high though..
- Food and drink is a tiny bit more expensive here but the mood is always good. There is a Christmas Market here in December. Don't order obatzda here! It sucks!
- Colin ManningAugust 31, 2013There's no need to steal those fantastic beer glasses. You can buy them for €2.80. That's only 1.80 extra
- Alide AmickMay 26, 2015I love this beer garden in the middle of Englischer Garten. Very touristy, but it doesn't matter.
- Daniele D'AddioJanuary 1, 2016Beautiful beergarten (little beer and wurstel stand), under the chineese pagoda, in the english garden
- Best Western Central EuropeApril 24, 2012One of Munich´s most picturesque beergardens amidst the city park "Englischer Garten". Don´t miss it.
