It is enormous! Easy to access, clean (although the 1 Euro toilet was totally not worth it!). Lockers are by the entrance and towards the end of the rails, which also need to be cleaned up (inside).
If you new to leave your luggage for the day while you explore the city, you can rent large luggage lockers for up to 3 days. Look for the ones closer to the McDonald's. 5 euros instead of 6 euros.
I like this train station, there is a lot going on here. Lots of food choices, basic shopping, plus nice architecture and endless people watching. As always: beware of pickpockets.
You can take the hop on hop off bus and see the sights in a little over an hour if you are in a hurry and have only a little time from opposite the Frankfurt hauptbahnhof
Pretty busy station with great connection to all public transportation systems. Loacted in the heart of the city. Close to main shopping street and historical city center.
Head out the front door and walk directly across the street to Kaiserstraße - you'll find all sorts of shops, bars, and restaurants from which to choose.
I just like railways and stations. Frankfurt one is big, busy and also beatiful. Servicing second largest metropolitan area in Germany is serious business.
Coins are scarce for the vendors here for some reason. Lockers don’t spit change and if you put $2 in when you need $1 it resets and your money is gone.
Such a beautiful view of the financial quarter with its elegant skyscrapers from the bridge crossing the river Main before arriving into the main station.
Discover the 123 year old main station! Especially, go at the main enter outside. You will see two statues of women: one is crying, one is happy. It means in german: Freude and Traurigkeit...
I would not say I particularly like this place, but as far as train stations go this one is up there, because at least it has some decent directions for trains and where to find the McDs etc.
