- Pocket SunSeptember 6, 2014Nice looking dishes; good place for a date. The best part was the deconstructed Green Strawberry dessert, very unique! I liked the chicken dumplings, the yogurt cocktail, and the sweet potatoes.
- Tarah FeinbergOctober 20, 2012Excellent modern Vietnamese with a molecular touch. The Dungeness crab and spot prawns are a must. However, watch out for the large dishes - charged us $110 for the prawns, price wasn't on the menu!
- Nick DazeMarch 28, 2013Order the scallops, beef tartare, trout roe, pork belly, birch ice, and/or green gage plums! Be adventurous. The more "mainstream" items on the menu are nowhere near the most delicious.
- Nicolas Wendl🎥January 26, 2014Exquisite food. Small portions but filled with flavor and attention to detail. Everything is good. Come with friends and share, best way to explore this incredibly original menu!
- Travel ChannelAugust 26, 2012Enjoy this modern take on French and Vietnamese food involving very creative uses of herbs and flowers. Open late until 2 a.m., and very popular with food-service industry types.
- Late night menu is eclectic. The banh mi is incredible and is enough for two. Delicious cocktails as well. Come through if you're in the area. You'll be happy.

- Lea J.January 22, 2013While there is nothing Vietnamese about this place if you ask me, it's nonetheless very good. Beef tartare, chicken dumplings and lamb = all amazing. Beautifully presented. I'd go back.
- Julie DemarignySeptember 6, 2013I don't get why this place is not crowded. Still the #1 restaurant in LA on my list. Pic is the jasmin mousse, redberry, shaved redoak ice... Crazy!

- Dolce&GabbanaOctober 26, 2011This totally unconventional Vietnamese Restaurant in Los Angeles is an homage to Asian cuisine without pretending to be a fusion experiment. Try their Spring Rolls, Thai chili and Bun Cha.

- Rebs YApril 13, 2012Order #38: " violet-scented Aviation, is flavored with orange, blanketed with coconut foam and garnished with a transparent slice of Meyer lemon, pushing it toward the realm of lemon meringue pie."
- Lyn KirschApril 20, 2011Brussels sprouts were great, liked the artichoke salad along with the tasty Halibut. Disappointed with the sweet potato dish, egg and veggie dish and the scallops. Service was spotty also.
- LA Home & StyleMarch 16, 2013The food here is so artistically plated you might feel bad about eating it. But don't! You deserve it. Great drinks too.
- Sam ReichSeptember 30, 2014Truly wild and eccentric food, with common ingredients in ice and custard. Very sad to hear that it will be shutting its doors.
- Cuong DApril 1, 2013You'll experience highs and lows here... Great pork belly and dry Japanese style beef... Do your research before ordering
- Kristy EdmundsOctober 5, 2013No way to describe the way these people create. Ask questions, enjoy, and be amazed at a simple discovery given.
- Jean MarieAugust 17, 2014The beef tartare and lamb belly are both really good. Not for late night, however, as those dishes are very heavy.
- Colin MurrayAugust 31, 2013This place is rad. Great cocktails and delicious food. Bring people to share with since most dishes are designed to share.

- alexander siuMarch 28, 2013Don't flake on a reservation at this passive-aggressive "restaurant." The bigger question is why would you plan on coming in the first place.
