Killer bocadillos (Spanish sandwich) and MVP value play at $9. The Picante is a beast. Eat all the chorizo samples at the front while you wait. They won't stop you. Trust.

Everything here is wonderful, from be meats to cheeses to Spanish provisions. The chorizo is to die for. And do not leave the premises without ordering a sandwich -- the meats, cheeses & bread are A+.

The sandwiches are good but a little plain. I got the gallego(ham and cheese) wish I would have asked for aioli, tomatoes and peppers. There are a bunch of sample chorizos to try while you wait!

Great shop featuring Spanish products on import, normally can't find at the local groceries. Also good restaurant and Cafe for the locals. Personal favorite is the Estella Damm from Barcelona.

A NYC hot-spot for all things sourcing from Spain. Enjoy tapas, sangria and imported brews in the back dining space. Go home with treats galore, Spanish wine next door...

Great cold cuts and sandwiches. From the outside it just looks like a store but once you get in, they have tables so you can eat and enjoy a meal. They also have a good wine list.Try the red sangria.

I'll echo everyone else: get the picante bocadillo (a pressed Spanish sandwich). The chorizo is so good, as is the spicy aioli.

The Picante Bocadillo is delicious and super authentic (or as close as you can get to it). They also sell Spanish import and great Spanish wines (next door).

Everyone is saying get the picante but there is also a sandwich NAMED AFTER THE STORE. I'll let you decide which one you get... but, to repeat, they have a sandwich named after the store.

Amazing pintxos and bocadillos. Among the pintxos, our favorites are bacalao and octopus. The bocadillos with tuna, tomato and red bell peppers is an unforgettable and addictive experience

Everything is of/from Spain. Taste new foods, buy something prepared and eat it in the back seating area. Color and character astound here. No corking fee if you buy a bottle of wine next door too!

Excellent one-stop shop for Spanish specialty ingredients: cured meat, cheese, oils, and more. We dig the sandwiches, too.

Crear place for a quick bite or a light meal. Try the picante or despaña (ask for manchego slice instead of the spread). The red sangria is also good.

The chorizo was delicious!!! Also, the wine store next door is owned by the same people, so you can buy a bottle and bring it into Despaña to enjoy with your tapas with no additional fee!

Went there for lunch on a Friday and loved everything. Went back the next day for dinner. We were rushed as they were closing soon; we asked for a “best of” and got punished with a «worst of». #Uncool

You must try the Jamon Iberico de Bellota....at $180/LB it is pricey....but something you must experience if you're a fan of cured meats. Only a handful of places in the US are able to import it.
