True. Best idea is to leave fast as one has arrived. This station was build in the 80's to accommodate the need of connecting the new ICE train-routs from east and west and exchange passengers.
Relatively small train station with barely any shops and restaurants. Good concept for climbing up the tracks: long ramps spanning half of the station make it easy with strollers or heavy luggage
“Functional” trainstation that has little to offer in terms of food/drinks. Train access via very long and steep ramps with no elevators in sight avoid station if this a problem!
