Fantastic neighborhood bookstore with a great selection of new/recommended books to grab off a table. Haven’t been steered wrong yet. Also cool author events in the basement (with wine!).

They also carry great notebooks and a plethora of great cards if you happen to forget someone's birthday!- Love having WORD as my local bookstore. Stellar staff, great events, & a well-curated selection of books & sundries. I also love the $5-off bonus whenever I spend $100, which I manage to do often.

Amazing staff and the best programming ever, bookstore or not. Tons of readings and events, a literary basketball league, running club, pot lucks, bananagrams tourneys - better than the YMCA!
I read too many books and this quality indie is dangerously close to my home! Cute selection of cards. Quick turnaround and prompt service with online orders.
