- Go for Vadas, idlis and dosas. Skip the Onion and Chili uthappam. The chef uses jalapeños in lieu of Indian chillies. No self respecting Indian chef would do that.
- The "medu vadas" and idlis are very good. Much better than at Udupi (across the street). The South Indian coffee was too strong (even for my palate). one of the best South Indian places in Chicago!
- TheOutOfTownerDecember 23, 2019Eat all things South Indian - the idlis, medu bada, rasam vada, dosas and uthappams are quite big - most of the food here is meant for sharing. The Naan and paneer butter masala is non spicy and yum!
- VikramMay 25, 2014South Indian fare is quite good, but some North Indian dishes are good too (e.g. chhole batura) - give them a try!
- Kris bMarch 30, 2017hard to decipher the menu, but everything I've randomly selected had been great.

- Apurva DesaiSeptember 15, 2013Perhaps the suckiest food I've ever had. Service sucks, with sarcastic over smart servers. Food was a joke. We were dying to get out - the server was literally ON us checking that we left a tip!
- Renjie AbrahamApril 17, 2011Paper Masala Dosai. Impossible to go wrong with this. Perhaps the best I've had!
- Jagni JoshiSeptember 27, 2013Manchurian idli is worth getting, paneer pakoda was bland. Cheese-vegetable uttapam was good
- Arthi RameshAugust 25, 2018The uttappams were disappointing. And the vada was not fried well. Very unhappy with the food. Won’t go back.
- Mohammed Hassan-AliSeptember 30, 2014Did not like their chaat papri at all. Too greasy. And the waiters took too long for assistance. Not going back.
