The construction is a pain in the butt for finding the car rental if you're not used to it and signs only in German don't help if you're trying to logically process where to go.

This is a beautiful airport, with nice architecture, good services and other nice things like a small exposition of old airplanes and it's components as motors or turbines.

Moderate airport. McDonald’s that is Open pretty much year round. Small supermarket (edeka) that is open sundays. Duty Free is expensive. Almost no food options after security

Getting better year after year. There's a terrace on the top floor (T3) where you can spot all the airplanes - adult fee €2.50

Nice small and friendly airport. Gain a good birds eye view and sit at the bench areas at McDonalds in Terminal 3. Bathrooms have sexy toys if needed 🍆🍑

Unlike other European airports they don't mess around at security. Make sure you have your laptop out and your liquids out and in a bag your belt off and oh no safety razor.

there are some very nice airport in Germany, there are some awesome one that try to reduce the painful activity of frequent checkin and boarding.... and there is Stuttgart Airport.

Chinese fast food at arrivals has good takeout if you are staying at Movenpick and want to grab something tasty.

The parking P0 is free for the first hour - just in case you need to pick up someone and you have to wait a few minutes.

If something catches your eye in the shops before security - buy it there. Those shops do not exist on the other side. But obviously some duty frees selling the usual do.

When flying with germanwings try the web-chekin (till 72 hours before departure) and leave your baggage at the drop-off counter - so you will have a checkin without waiting lines within seconds

Airport was quite surprisingly very inefficient couldn't handle the traffic. It seems they weren't ready for so many travelers or did not know how to keep it efficient. We had a very bad experience.

... I hate it. Security check and bars are always understaffed and unpleasant, walk path are tidy and sad, smoking area are smelt 60 meters around.

If you don't know the rules to fly, don't work at the airport, misuse authority & give wrong messages. It is 100ml PER BOTTLE, NOT IN TOTAL. Made me check-in my bag & wait thanks to her incompetence!
