It's very cozy (small) but the food comes out very quickly and the staff is extremely nice. I had the Iraqi pita pocket and it wasn't my favorite thing in the world. The hummus is great!

Slow and uneven, but polite service. Delicious, healthy menu. Very trendy and intimate atmosphere. Perfect for date night or going out with a friend.

Far and away the best hummus in NYC; try it with ground beef on top (trust us). And don't miss their excellent vegetable side dishes, either.

Worth the trek to Brooklyn if you're a hummus lover. It's fantastic and always fresh. The rest of the menu is tasty Israeli home-food cooking. Good brunch and lunch options. Cheap.

Mimi Kitani is known for her hummus, which she blends with lemon and garlic, enriches with olive oil, and tops with everything from fava beans to cinnamon-tinged ground beef.

Yes, I do pretty much like everything here. But I especially like the hummus with meat, the labane, and the spiced carrots with feta.

For brunch get Mimi's open faced sandwich with labne roasted pepper and sautéed eggplant -- it's the sh*t. Shakshouka pretty solid too.

Easily the best hummus restaurant in NYC. The mushroom hummus is out of this world.

Really good and testy but small portion, even the water glasses are small, small space, small meals, big flavor and big prices... EXPENSIVE, but excellent quality.

Yes the hummus is very good. But overall the menu needs more diversity and room for standard fare. Their specialty shop next door is not so special.

The "eggplant caviar" is particularly special. Hummus is wonderful, almost whipped. Shakshuka, skillet of ground lamb & tahini...all great. Space is cozy/ well-designed/small, but perfect takeout too. Read more

Didn’t like it at all. The hummus wasn’t great. The tomato sauce in the shakshuka tasted straight out a can (yuck). Would say skip this place tons of good establishments around.

Don't bother with the shakshuka. $2 for sausage only gets you a few itty bits, and pita costs another $1 on top. Overall very disappointed!
