Salzburg

Salzburg is amazing! You can learn the town quickly, walk everywhere, get good food and good culture. Apparently it's more exciting in the summer and winter, which are heavy times for tourism.

That's a good small city for 1-2days to stay. The panoramic view of the city could be reached from the castle on the mountain. It cost 9eur to get up and down there. Old church is very beautiful.

Only little wifi-availability. Entrance fees for Mozart-houses are crazy (10€ each or 17€ together), most fees are only wothwhile for a long stay (1 day per attraction). Tip: Follow the walkway-signs!

A true fairytale city! So much history to explore and a must for lovers of The Sound of Music! Wear good walking shoes to explore the magical Altstadt - a world heritage site.

On May 1st, 1816, Salzburg seceded from kingdom of Bavaria to become part of the Austrian Empire.

Salzburg is a wonderful place full of history and lots of churches. However they could install more public toilets and drink water tabs. Service is generally a bit more on the grumpy side.

Take a trip up the mountains if you have a chance lovely view up there. Especially during winter.

Must see historical and small city in Austria. DomQuartier and Redidenzgalerie are amazing.

Everything in here is somehow related to Mozart... tees, chocolate, gifts... they should try Mozartzzarela

A great city to stay for 2-3 days maximum.

I love this city! So quaint with fascinating things to do. Make this stop a priority!

We taste the best, the freshest tap water ever here. If you went to any restaurant, just ask for the tap water. No reason to pay for bottled water.

Go to one of the large chains, like Starbucks, for your coffee. I know, not the original Salzburg experience, but at least is doesn't stink from people smoking inside. Get rid of that bad habit, AT.

Visit this city during Christmas time. Nice Christmas markets everywhere.

There is free WIFI along the Salzach River around the Staatsbrücke Bridge - you can check emails, facebook, twitter and more!

Explore Salzburg by bicycle: there are great cycle paths along the river.

Stay away from shops selling the obvious "made in China" junk and invest in good coffee at a typical Salzburg cafè instead.

Im August sehr überfüllt wegen den Festspielen - diese Zeit lieber meiden weil voller Menschen und alles ist doppelt so teuer. Ein Abstecher auf den Mönchsberg bietet den besten Blick über die Stadt!

Zu Weihnachten mit Schnee bestimmt richtig toll. Die kleinen Berge mitten in der Stadt sind schon sehr verlockend. Muss also nochmal hin. Ansonsten eine unerwartet menschenleere Stadt. Gefällt mir ;-)

A segunda cidade mais visitada da Áustria. Com agradável centro histórico, a parte turística dá pra fazer tudo a pé. É possível passar de uma rua a outra por dentro de algumas galerias.

Mozart ın memleketi. Çok güzel bir şehir. Mozart ın evinden sağa ve sola giden dar sokak üzerinde güzel dükkanlar, ara pasajlarda da cafe ve restorantlar var

Hermosa ciudad medieval. Muchos lugares para visitar. Lo mejor tomar el funicular y apreciar las vistas desde la fortaleza.

Im Sommer an der Salzach oder auf dem Überfuhrsteg chillen. Im Winter einfach an der Salzach entlang schlendern oder durch die Getreidegasse bummeln.
