One of my favourite Italian restaurants in SF. The pizza is great, just a shame they cook it in an electric oven. But the ingredients are so good that the pizza is amazing anyway. Btw I'm Italian :)

By the owners of La Ciccia this place focuses on Northern Italian food (La Nebbia = the fog). The crudos are all great, so is the smoked burrata (see pic). Order a bottle of Lagrein! Incredible value.

The new Noe Valley wine bar boasts a sizable food menu of fresh cheeses, crisp pizzas, and three kinds of homemade lasagna. The all-Italian list offers plenty of intriguing vintages.

La Ciccia's sister enoteca isn't really a restaurant, though you can eat pizza. Rather it's a place to drink fantastic Northern Italian and sparkling wines, paired with prosciutto and jamón iberico. Read more

Cozy place to chill with a glass (or two!) of wine from Italy. The Pesto pizza with mozzarella, potatoes & smoked pancetta was great. But the highlight was the Potato & Black Truffle Gnocchi. So good!

Wow, the game hen is something Kokkari wished it made and if it did would charge $32 for. It is incredible. Order it and be prepared to answer questions from the patrons around you.

The margherita with mozzarella, soppressata, radicchio, and pecorino ($15) is Lorella’s favorite, typical from her family home of Verona. If you like it hawt, ask for some chile oil for that one.

The squid ink pizza is a unique treat not to be missed. Saltiness from anchovies paired with the sweetness of golden raisins makes this a must-have. It’s like the mole sauce of the sea.

Margarita pizza or the one with prosciutto and arugala. The meatballs are great too. And- of course- all the cured meats.

The funghi pizza is not to be missed. It's a cozy spot for a date night with oddly wide tables.

The crust was pretty good but our smoked mozz pizza tasted like it was missing something--just pretty bland overall. The cured meats were great, I'd come back just to sample all the different options.

Great food. Hard to hear anything but that might just be me getting old. Expect around $100 for two.

Good, but there are better options. Namely: Piccino, Delfina or Raggaza.
