- Crist JarrettMarch 13, 2016Even if you're a local, you've got to visit the top at least once in your life. The views of the city and islands are beautiful. Follow @IsTheMountainOut on Twitter for a daily shot of Mt Rainier!Upvoted Mar 7
- Alexa Jane BrooksDecember 30, 2014Great views. Make sure you get your tix in advance. Make your reservations for the cafe days in advance. Sunset is the best time to visit. Beautiful spot!
- KaitlinSeptember 28, 2018Steep fees to go up ($32+) but the remodel really is stunning. The rotating glass floor is as cool as it is disorienting, and the all-glass deck is far and away better than the chain link of before!
- Abhishek ShahapurkarSeptember 25, 2017Best view of Seattle. Had been there after dark. But I guess any time of the day is good.P.s the tower viewers aren't working properly.Try the caramel popcorn near viewing point.
- Joseph CAugust 12, 2014Amazing views!!! Dude, you can just skip the $16- ticket and eat @ the restaurant to get the views & go up the deck after your meal! Not much difference in view except for the fresh air! 👆👍💙⛅☔
- KarenJanuary 27, 2018This structure was once appropriately called the Eiffel Tower of the US. Too bad the view isn't as great as the city of Paris. But, Mt. Rainier and the sound makes up for it!
- Tim DengNovember 1, 2018It’s awesome, but expensive ): the virtual reality bungee jumping experience at the base is free however (yes, even if you don’t have a ticket!)Upvoted Feb 25
- Jeff S.March 9, 2017The elevator ride up has glass walls as you ascend to the top. You'll arrive at an indoor/outdoor viewing area providing 360 degree breathtaking views of Seattle,Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. Amazing
- Noel RodriguezOctober 2, 2016Amazing views of Seattle! Do the multi-tickets deal and check out the other attractions around it. Well worth it. Lines can be long but they move quickly so don't get turned off by them.
- Sandra LozanoSeptember 2, 2016Love it! Its a most to visit at the city of Seattle, please visit the restaurant have a less crowded view with excellent food!!
- Ashley SevadjianAugust 9, 2019Go up about an hour before sunrise! It’s definitely worth the money to go up and have a look. There’s overpriced but delicious food up top and you can stay as long as you like.
- Kaede BalazsNovember 14, 2013Besides being an observation spot with great views of the city, the space needle is just pretty to look at! It's an easy landmark to spot. Also check out EMP and Science Center right next to it!
- ᴡ LagascaMay 20, 2016The interactive spaces, such as free photos and cam control/viewing, is a great way to engage people. It also means more bang for your buck ;) I love the futuristic feel and art direction.
- Jon B.April 10, 2023Incredible view of Seattle and the surroundings. Book you tickets, then go next door to the Chihuly Garden and Glass while you wait for your time.
- CamillaApril 16, 2016I loved the view, make sure to go here on a day where the weather is nice and there aren't too many clouds. Definitely worth a visit!
- DamanFebruary 24, 2015Great views from up here! Definitely get a table at Sky City restaurant. The food isn't great but the rotating view on a clear day is to die for!
- The ArtificialNovember 27, 2017This is where the future lived 50 years ago. It still o ers a nice view. Trivia: the needle is privately owned, and images of it are copyrighted. This is why you don’t see it on local business logos.
- Al B.March 2, 2016Excellent views! But price is really high for just an elevator ride up. If you decide to take this, take it with the Museum as well.
- Diana ArzJuly 24, 2018Went before the closing to avoid the line, used a city pass. What can I say, it’s Seattle’s most famous landmark. Just do it once 😉.
- Beth BondJuly 13, 2018Must see. New observation deck has fun lean over the edge benches. Stunning views of Mount Rainier which is captivating.
- Must see for visitors and locals alike. Nothing beats then quick lift rode and 360 view at the top. Go in the off season for a bit of breathing space ;)
- Edward HomickNovember 16, 2012You can go to the top for free! Make a reservation for the restaurant at the top, which allows you access to observation deck for free. Then just go up & leave without ever going to the restaurant!
- Luke WangMarch 27, 2016The view is never old. Go there during sunset if it is a clear day or slightly after dark on a cloudy day to get the gorgeous city lights view.

- Jen CraigMay 17, 2014If the tomahawk steak is on the menu, ask your server to reserve one ASAP. Then look at the menu. They go fast. Best steak ever! Big enough to share.
- R BDecember 12, 2016Locals know: the space needle is best seen from places other than the space needle. Don't bother going to the top. The view from Kerry park is much better, and free.
- Serene TangDecember 19, 2016At a price of $22 to catch a view of Seattle is a miss and hit. It isn't entirely a necessity because there are of course beautiful views elsewhere. A good view need not be from the top hey?!
- Hard RockerJune 14, 2015A must visit when in Seattle. Great views from the top. Free photos taken from staff--emailed to you. Parking is not free. Numerous souvenirs.
- Mark SucreseJune 28, 2016Lots of fun going to the top. Great views of the city any time of the day. Restaurant is WAY over priced.

- Sean MillerFebruary 17, 2016360 degree views of the downtown Seattle area. A must see if you are visiting!
- Victoria HarmanJuly 31, 2013At peak times, pay the extra $12 for a VIP ticket in the group tickets line. It's the only way to avoid the DisneyWorld style lines. Park in Pacific Place and pick up the Monorail at Westlake Center.
- Dean NelsonMarch 24, 2014SkyCity Restaurant is the best place to view the entire city and includes your observation deck access.
- Views at sunset are spectacular, but come early or late if you want to avoid lines. Get a souvenir photo taken before you board the elevator, they're fun to look at upon returning to the ground floor.
- Andrea BuchananJanuary 2, 2014Bring a coat and go to the restaurant. The ticket up is normally $19...so why not eat at the restaurant with a $25 minimum and a free ride up. Essentially, $6 lunch for a great lunch.
- Denise FMarch 20, 2016It's a must view, but nothing so incredible to see, try to visit on weekdays because it can get really busy, better going when weather is good.
- Samantha McLeodFebruary 28, 2016Kind of expensive... But I mean, you will pay it anyway. You can't go to the Space Needle and not go up. The guys who make the prices know how to get ya. The view is awesome, but go on a clear day
- Marilyn FungOctober 1, 2011A day/night pass is included in the Seattle CityPass so you can see the view over Seattle by day and also look at the pretty lights at night. Sunset is a popular time to visit.

- Connie ChiuSeptember 30, 2017Beautiful 360 view of the city with that crisp air. The only annoying thing is that when we came, two of three elevators were broken so we waited about 45 minutes just to get up.
- Erin MosowSeptember 16, 2014Crowded but fun. Go on a weekday if possible. Don't miss the Chihuly exhibit next door.
- DoubleTree Seattle AirportJune 21, 2011The Space Needle is a must see attraction of Seattle! Take the Link Light Rail next to the DoubleTree Seattle Airport and it will take you directly downtown Seattle! Don't forget your camera!
