One of the most well-reserved pieces of religious architecture in western Europe provides you with a stunning glimpse of the ancient Moorish culture. Take a couple of hours to stroll around.

    Been here 5+ times
There are two ques for the entrance ticket . Go for the one on the right with machine as it's a lot faster. Nice place worth the wait. Some sun screen is recommended during summer. Can get hot !

Do not miss the Nazari palaces. The map you get for the visit is good, use it. And book tickets online ahead of your visit, the system for tickets is tricky.

A must visit when in Granada. Plan half a day so you have time to discover all beautiful places inside this wonderful piece of art. The gardens of the Generalife are worth a detour! Book on time.

The jewel of Spain! So much poetry in the Moorish architecture. The roman palace built after the reconquest are a butchery of the delicate moorish architecture. But good to see this stark contrasts.

Nice combination of Moorish fortress and Christian palace. Big enough to sport huge towers for defence, and at the same time gardens with fountains for relaxation.

2 days spent in lines in december, didn't get tickets. Everything is sold out by 9:30-10. Think of reserving in advance online. If you still want to try: come at 7-7:30: split between 2 lines.

Tickets can be bought on the same day if you get there just before 8. The 2nd queue for ticket machines is much faster (only credit cards). Also there's coffee and snacks machines next to the toilets.

Best thing to do now in pandemic times is to enter one hour / hour and half before closing time, it will be completely empty and no one will interfere in your photos.

Make sure to finish your trip with a walk to Generallifé - it's a circuit with the return that loops around. It also affords a beautiful view of the Alhambra.

Book on line. It’s slightly cheaper and you can choose when to visit. Pro-top:- In the Summer early morning booking preferable: it is cooler and less crowded.
