Lidia PopeloJanuary 13, 2017Alive 24/7. You can eat, drink and shop at 4 a.m. Huge and well organized. The statue of a teddy bear in the middle of the airport is unbearably ugly.
The new airport is fabulous, the only disadvantage is that the gates are much further. Make sure you leave at least 15 minutes earlier to reach the gate, it's a long walk.Upvoted Mar 6
Aidu FJanuary 29, 2018Huge&easy to navigate. If your departure gate is D or E, you may need to take the shuttle train. Clean, new and fast. Ample sitting areas, clean toilets,plenty of cafes. Brilliant!

Very nice new airport. Well organized, free WiFi, rest area near gates A. Still lacking choice of restaurants, but good enough for short stopover.

TonyApril 27, 2019If you’ve more than 5 hrs to spend at Doha, you can join the Doha City Tour (duration 2 hr 45 mins). You can book it at the Information Desk is near A3 gate. Scheduled attached.
Globetrottergirls DaniFebruary 27, 2022There’s a really nice Starbucks Reserve bar (a fancier version of a regular Sbux) behind the Dolce & Gabbana store. Plugs at most tables and great airport views. Follow the signs to the C,D,E gates.

This new Airport is Huge, if you compare it to the older one. A lot to do and to see. The TV areas are cool to waste some of your waiting time. Or try to walk around, and discover the Airport.

S PAugust 4, 2022Qatar Airways hub. Huge airport, two terminals linked by train service. Very busy but very efficient with lots of helpful staff to guide and move passengers along. Great variety of duty free shopping
It is a huge airport! Check-in counters are quick. You need to plan your timing to reach the gate on time. There is a tram to have quick access to the C gates. Staff is ready to assist you everywhere.

Big and clean with interesting interior design! U can spend ur time in duty free shops! There are number of cafes and restaurants which are open 24/7

One of the best airports you can ever visit. Wide collection of duty free and lots of check-in counters. Immigration always smooth, especially in departures. Expect long walks though.

- Great airport. Make sure your luggages with you, take care of your passport & boarding passes. Don't rush, go early at your gate, have a sage trip!
The new airport is huge and stunning. It rivals the Dubai airport in size. Very spacious, easy parking, creative charging station and wifi is excellent. A landmark in Doha.

A great variety of stores and Duty Free's. If your layover is long, you can rest at the Airport Hotel (349USD) or at the Family quiet room (free).
If your stopover is over 5 hours, take advantage of a free visa and guided tour of the city. If not, there is Free wi-fi. Free usage of MAC computers, television booths, a fitness center and a hotel.

Their Longues are fantastic, and also duty-free shopping, some times few items are costly than the price from your city, be little cautious :)
