Nice beach 6km cycle past farmland. Atmospheric Ancient town is nice break from the traffic. Walking/cycle city. Lanterns make for lovely background to the bars and and restaurant.

The Ancient Town has a different look from day to night. Starting in the afternoon only pedestrians and push bikes are allowed. Stroll around.

Old town is pretty scenic .. Get a bike and explore the place. A little touristy to my taste but some shops are pretty rustic and original.

Must try cau lau and mi quang at the small stands along the river at night. Super inexpensive and delicious. Hoi An specialties are hard to find elsewhere.
