Look for this resto near the Kyoto station. Established in 1877! Go figure. Cue 30mins. minimum. Get the signature dish on this photo and the mushroom side dish (separate order).

Well connected with Tokyo metropolis via Shinkansen train service. Suggest you to purchase JR pass (for tourist) prior for departing to Japan. Make a stop at Kyoto city. Worth for money!

Hire a bike and get out of the centre of town ASAP. The Philosopher's Path is a must, quite a hike but better by bike. Kyoto Station building is epic. Go to the North exit or you'll miss everything!

Kyoto has a few private train operators and a city subway. The subway pass only allows subway rides, and hence, not v worth it

Pick your temples/shrines wisely. You'll be templed-out after the first three 😂. We had four days and that was definitely needed to cover all what we wanted to see.

We were 2 days only and had a blast. Will come again for sure 🇯🇵⛩

Kyoto is a must when visiting Japan. It is place of elegance. Visit: Kinkakuji, Fushimi shrine, Nijo-jo, Imperial Palace, Nishiki market, Gion, Bamboo grove, Nara park

Former Japan capital in Edo Era. Now the history is preserve in many place around the city, castle, temples, shrines, parks has been awarded by UNESCO as preserved cultural heritage. #TravellingKyoto

This is what u can call "the traditional Japan". I feel so blessed to be here. U should feel the same way too. Enjoy ur stay!

Five days were a perfect time to see most of the main sights and leave enough time to relax. Do some research on which places you want to spend the entry fee. Kyoto is Japan in a nutshell, amazing!

Beautiful city! Filled with gardens and temples and amazing places to eat. Lively and yet peaceful. Come to Kyoto!

Holy crab, the crab sushi is a must, do whatever it takes to stuff it in you

Is a mess of streets but I love the history. Modern and old clash together beautifully
