You won't find the most famous Picasso paintings here but the museum is very nice. It has paintings from all his years that help the guest follow the changes in his style and see his work as a whole.

If you're looking for the artwork that you know of as PICASSO, this isn't the museum for you. This has a large collection of his art before his fame and a handful from Blue Period. Good 2 hour visit.

Great to visit. Gets very busy in the Summer. Tucked away in the neighborhood but once inside they have an extensive array of Picasso art and can see his progression of changes in style.

The art was amazing but the collection was missing some of the big works of Picasso and it was difficult to navigate around. Still a place you have to visit when in Barcelona. Very cool museum shop.

Don't expect to come here and see Picasso's iconic work and style. A lot is focused on his very early works, and some late (before his death) pieces. I suggest coming early to avoid long entry line

A great museum! Doesn’t have as much as you would expect, but with Picasso being unable to return to his home country, the layout is well done

If you are near to Museo Picasso, you are in the Born quarter. After visiting the museum, you can relax in one of the many terraces and enjoy good tapas.

You can't take photos nor use your mobile phone. I felt there were large gaps missing from the timeline. Many interpretations of (parts of) Diego Velázquez' Las Meninas. I prefer Paris' Musée Picasso.

At least on the first Sunday of each month when entrance is free (!), prepare yourself for a long queue. It can take 40-90 minutes to get in, so manage your time. Workday is over @19:50. It's worthy!

Avoid the long queues by buying an Articket BCN pass from the Tourist Office in Plaça de Catalunya. You'll need to redeem the voucher they give you at a museum, the closest being CCCB.

Kind of a must-see when in Spain but I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much work from the 20s-40s, his surrealism glory days. Still lots of great early Picasso. Go early, it gets busy.
